Bottom Line

Perched on a cliff with stunning views of the Sea of Cortez, Welk Resorts Sirena Del Mar is a lovely upscale option outside of downtown Cabo San Lucas. All 108 rooms are spacious and come with excellent features like washers/dryers, full kitchens, and balconies -- many with ocean views. With two gorgeous infinity pools (some of the best views in Cabos), a Mexican restaurant, and a full fitness center, Sirena Del Mar brings most of the goods. One major downside is that the only beach within easy walking distance of the hotel is rocky and not particularly swimmable, something many guests might miss. The daily resort fee covers Wi-Fi and valet parking. For those looking to be right on the beach, check out Casa del Mar Golf Resort & Spa, for around the same price.

Welk Resorts Sirena Del Mar

Scene

Laid-back hotel with a lively social scene and quiet areas

Situated off The Corridor, down a quiet back road, Sirena Del Mar is laid-back and relaxed upscale option outside of Cabo San Lucas. It’s location outside of downtown Cabo ensures plenty of quiet relative to other party resorts in the area, though it also means the hotel is not within easy walking distance of restaurants or stores. The spacious resort is centered around a vibrant pool terrace and convivial open-air bar and activity area. Music plays throughout the day by the casual swim-up bar, La Palapa Pool Bar, while families and couples hang out in the water or play games of beer pong in the open activity area. Featuring nightly drink specials and live music, Tronco Bar tends to stay busy throughout the afternoon and into the evening.

There are quiet sunbathing spots scattered throughout the grounds, including a quiet balcony overlooking the beach and a multi-level terrace situated adjacent to the two infinity pools. Most rooms are located far enough away from the main hub of the hotel for guests to experience quiet and tranquility in their rooms.
