Park Lane Boutique Aparthotel

The Park Lane Aparthotel is a small, modern apartment hotel with the intimate feeling of a boutique property. It differs from other apartment hotels in that it has sizable common spaces where guests can hang out and socialize. The lobby is bright and fresh, with a Mediterranean color palette of white, blue and brown as well as comfortable armchairs and a pair of large flat-screen TVs. There's also a fully stocked honor bar available in the lobby around the clock, so guests don’t have to go far for a nightcap. In addition, there is a rooftop pool and sun terrace with panoramic views of the city and the sea. The pool isn’t big enough for exercise, but it’s perfect for a dip, and the chic white beach umbrellas and lounge chairs make it a tempting spot to relax in the sun. The Park Lane feels spacious and cheerful, with none of the bargain vibe often found in self-catering hotels. Families and business guests planning lengthy stays will find this an excellent value for money.

The Park Lane Aparthotel is located in the seaside town of Bugibba, on St. Paul’s Bay, with spectacular sea views from the hotel’s rooftop. The immediate area is busy, and the hotel is surrounded by city streets lined with shops, restaurants, cafes, and bars. The hotel itself is on a more quiet street, but guests can find plenty in the way of nightlife and entertainment within a few blocks. The Bugibba bus station is just across the road, and while the hotel doesn’t have parking, there is a public parking lot close by for guests with cars. The airport is just over half an hour away by car.

Rooms at the Park Lane Aparthotel range from Single Rooms for solo travelers to Family Apartments, and the crowning glory: a rooftop Penthouse with a private sundeck, direct pool access, and gorgeous views. All units are sunny, bright, and spacious, with light-wood furniture and a blue, white, and brown Mediterranean palette that reflects the seacoast outside. All apartments have balconies, some with water views. Even the Single Rooms have toasters, kettles, and mini-fridges, and the other categories have small but tidy and fully equipped kitchenettes, with refrigerators, two- or four-burner cooktops, microwaves, dishes, cookware, and utensils. Amenities include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs with satellite channels, in-room safes, free bottled water, and electrical adapters. Bathrooms are small -- some are downright tiny -- but they are clean and modern. Some rooms are not yet renovated, and guests are advised to request an updated room. 

The Park Lane Aparthotel features a lovely rooftop terrace with a pretty mosaic-covered pool and panoramic Mediterranean views with the St. Paul’s Islands in the distance. A continental breakfast is served in the lobby each morning, with hot dishes cooked to order, but it costs extra. There is an extensively stocked honor bar in the lobby with plenty of space for hanging out there or on the street level terrace. There's also a small lending library and Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. The Park Lane staff offers a number of fantastic excursions for all ages that can be arranged at the time of booking, including rock climbing, kayaking, and cultural entertainment programs.
