Bottom Line

The small, three-pearl Supreme Hotel Marmaris is an all-inclusive property that's a solid choice for travelers looking for a low-key vacation experience and good value. It's located about 10 minutes’ walk from the waterfront, and while the 57 guest rooms are on the small side, they're pleasant and well-maintained. All have balconies, flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, and free Wi-Fi, but there's a fee to use safes and AC may cost extra depending on individual bookings. In addition to the pool, the hotel has an open-air restaurant and pool bar, plus a small spa, though one weight bench is the extent of fitness facilities. Travelers seeking a similarly relaxed setting with a beachfront location can compare rates at the Hotel Marbella or the Poseidon Hotel, while those who desire more organized activities and entertainment might consider the nearby Club Anastasia.

Supreme Hotel Marmaris

Scene

Generally quiet and relaxed place for couples on low-key vacations

Despite its grandiose name, this small hotel is a rather simple affair, drawing mostly English, German, Dutch, and Turkish guests -- primarily couples, but also friends, solo travelers, and small families -- looking for a relaxed stay. There are almost zero organized activities or entertainment, so it’s typically quiet around the small pool, though some guests may choose to liven it up at the pool bar in the evenings. Other hotels also share the same block, so some noise can also carry over even if the Supreme itself is quiet. Like many other Marmaris hotels, the Supreme Hotel Marmaris is open May through October only.

Location

Good central location a short walk from the beach

The Supreme Hotel Marmaris is located in an inland residential neighborhood 10 minutes by foot from the restaurants, bars, and cafes that line the waterfront, and 15 minutes from the town’s public beach a bit farther down the shore. It’s a 10-minute drive to the castle, old town, and harbor area, and a 15-minute drive to the bus station. Local minibuses to these destinations run down the main road at the end of the hotel’s block, and there are some small markets in the area as well as storefronts where visitors can book excursions. The resorts of neighboring İçmeler are a 10-minute drive, and also served by minibus. The nearest airport is about 90 minutes away by car in the town of Dalaman.

Rooms

Small but pleasant guest rooms with balconies and basic amenities

The Supreme Hotel Marmaris’ 57 guest rooms are divided into two square blocks on either side of the pool area, only one of which (the “A” block) has an elevator. Standard Rooms are small, with little space for much aside from their double or two single beds, desks, and nightstands. Units are comfortable and simply decorated in neutral tones, and all have decent-size balconies, with about half facing the pool and half facing surrounding buildings. Those on the ground floor don’t have much of a view of anything on either side. Just under half of the rooms are Family Rooms, which are slightly larger and have trundle beds and fold-out armchairs in living areas separated from the bedrooms.

Standard amenities include small flat-screen TVs on the walls above the desks and mini-fridges inside them. All units come equipped with free Wi-Fi and safes that cost extra to use, and air-conditioning may be free or an extra charge depending on the booking arrangement. The tiled bathrooms are basic but tidy, with stall showers, hairdryers, and toiletries.

Features

A small swimming pool and spa, one bar and restaurant, and very little entertainment

There aren't a lot of bells and whistles, but the hotel has enough amenities for a comfortable stay. A small pool with an open-air restaurant and bar alongside are the main features at the Supreme Hotel Marmaris. There’s also a small spa area in the basement with one private Turkish bath, a dry sauna, one massage room for two people, and a basic relaxing area right by the spa entrance, with simple sunbeds covered with colorful Turkish towels. One weight bench comprises the fitness area.

Different dining options -- breakfast-only, half-board, full-board, and all-inclusive -- are available, with meals generally served buffet-style. (At the start and end of the season, the hotel may switch to a la carte if guest numbers are low.) In high season, there’s entertainment no more than once or twice a week -- a Turkish night, or performances put on by the staff.

Laundry service and room service are available for an extra charge. Street parking and Wi-Fi throughout are free. Travelers with limited mobility should be aware that one of the buildings doesn't have an elevator.
