Bottom Line

The Ramada Miami Springs/Miami International Airport is 122-room, budget property conveniently located five minutes from the airport with free shuttle service. It's a 15-minute drive from the Port of Miami, and golf, casinos, and family attractions are all less than 30 minutes away. Rooms are modern and bright, and some have kitchenettes. The outdoor pool, free breakfast, and on-site restaurant and bar are all pluses, though guests will hear airport noise and there is a fee for the cruise terminal shuttle. Guests can compare rates with the Red Roof Plus Miami Airport where all rooms have mini-fridges and microwaves as well as bathtubs, and its shuttle to the cruise port is free.

Ramada by Wyndham Miami Springs/Miami International Airport

Scene

Straightforward airport hotel suitable for travelers flying or cruising from Miami

The Ramada Miami Springs is in a nondescript two-story rectangular building, surrounded by a parking lot. Guests enter through automatic glass doors into the large lobby. The reception desk is off to the right, and a red London-style phone booth adds a pop of color to the beige tiled space. A monitor displays up-to-date Miami flight information. Black sofas plus black or purple contemporary chairs provide places for guests to linger in the lobby. Vending machines and a trio of microwaves stand prominently beside the front desk, and a small breakfast area with red dining chairs is off to the side. Some rooms are accessed by exterior walkways and the hotel is suited best for cost-conscious travelers who are taking flights or cruises out of Miami.
