Hotel Spa Sagitario Playa

There are very few modern elements to Hotel Spa Sagitario Playa. Decor is minimal throughout the hotel: common areas and corridors look a bit dated. The lobby is quite large, with tiled flooring, leather sofas, large paintings, and a central staircase leading to hotel rooms. The rooms are more modern than the common areas. The spa is the most elegant space in the hotel. It offers a silent and tranquil zone in which to relax. Kids are accommodated with a shallow pool next to the large outdoor swimming pool. Apart from the playground, the pool is the only feature aimed specifically at accommodating kids in the hotel. There's a daily evening entertainment program that varies each night. The quiet location and peaceful hotel means that the hotel is mostly frequented by couples looking to relax and unwind. 

Hotel Spa Sagitario Playa is situated in the quiet urbanized area of Cala Blanca, a four-minute walk to Cala Blanca Beach. The area is peaceful and set away from the busy tourist hot spots on Minorca Island. There are a handful of restaurants, bars, and shops within walking distance, most are located along the beach. At a nine-minute drive away, Cal Santandria is the second closest beach. Cala'n Bosch is a 15-minute drive from the hotel and Ciutadella is a 20-minute drive. There's a bus stop that's a few minutes' walk from the hotel that travels to Ciutadella and other small villages on the island. Minorca Airport is a 45-minute drive from the hotel.

The guest rooms offer a mostly bland look with white walls and gray curtains and linens. Furniture and floors are done with wood finishes. While generic and plain, the rooms are also bright and spacious, and all include a large furnished balcony. Many of the rooms overlook the pleasant pool area. Bed configurations come in Double, Twin, or Triple Rooms. Amenities include air-conditioning, a ceiling fan, minibar, flat-screen TV, safe (additional fee), tea- and coffee-making facilities, telephone, work desk, and free Wi-Fi. En-suite bathrooms provide a walk-in shower, hairdryer, magnifying mirror, and toiletries. Slippers are provided.

The Hotel Spa Sagitario Playa offers some nice features, though many incur an additional fee. All room rates include a free buffet breakfast, and some rates also include the buffet-style dinner. It includes a shallow kids' pool, sun loungers, and parasols. Guests have to pay an additional fee to make use of the spa's sauna, steam room, and indoor swimming pool. For staying in shape, there's a fitness center and tennis courts. The hotel has a meeting room reserved for parties or weddings. There's also a game room and mini-market on-site.
