Bottom Line

This 23-room, three-and-a-half-pearl boutique is steps from beautiful Agia Anna beach in a popular tourist area of Naxos island. Contemporary decor and beautiful outdoor spaces make this a lovely choice for a quiet vacation. A restaurant with delicious food and the hot tub at the spa are quality offerings, as is a free, delicious breakfast with homemade Greek pies and cakes. Rooms have serene decor and high-end extras like espresso machines, hydromassage showers or tubs, and pillow menus. The small gym and lack of a pool may be turn-offs for some, but most past guests highly recommend this hotel. The Finikas Hotel is worth checking out for those who need more on-site amenities like a pool, sauna, and kid-friendly features.

Iria Beach Art Hotel

Scene

Relaxing hotel with beautiful common areas in a tourist-friendly area

This beautiful beach hotel has a friendly, relaxing atmosphere and a great location. Short, squarish ivory buildings with bricked archways and light-blue trim are a lovely update on the traditional blue-on-white Cycladic style. Flowering potted plants and small trees embellish every corner and courtyard. Inside, the lobby is a simple space with a few contemporary touches in the bright-red divan, oversize raindrop sculpture, and whimsical mermaid wall hanging. Next door, the restaurant has a lovely cafe atmosphere with deep-blue and green accents. Blue window tinting and a shimmery, back-lit trim is reminiscent of the play of light in ocean waters. The restaurant's charming outdoor stone patio has green and white chairs with rainbow-striped cushions, hanging plants, and woven baskets, plus views out to the beach. Guests find the staff helpful and welcoming, and enjoy the convenience of the beach and tourist areas. Despite the busy atmosphere outside, the hotel maintains a peaceful ambience that makes it feel like a tranquil oasis.
