Housed in a high-rise building on a cobblestone street, Fairfield Inn is a modern and edgy hotel in New York's Financial District. Overall, the hotel follows a nautical theme, with a blue- and white color-scheme throughout. The lobby is bright with tiled flooring, white walls, contemporary blue-leather seating, and a dark wood reception desk. Decor includes an antique telescope, large model ship, black-and-white photos, and New York nautical map wallpaper found on feature walls throughout the hotel. The breakfast area/lobby bar features a similar edgy vibe with wooden floors, diner-style red leather bar stools, steel chairs with blue and white cushions, and similar nautical-themed decor as found in the lobby. Fairfield Inn is suitable for both business and leisure travelers due to its location in the Financial District and close proximity to many of the city's main attractions.
