Bottom Line

For guests who are looking to spend time in both quiet Niagara-on-the-Lake as well as the tourist districts of Niagara Falls, this bright and fresh Hilton Garden Inn is located right between the two areas, and offers great value for a mid-range hotel. With free Wi-Fi, free parking, and a restaurant on-site, it’s a convenient option for those that want to explore all that the Niagara Falls region has to offer -- including wineries. While some rooms overlook the busy highway intersection out front, many rooms look over the outdoor patio and gardens in the back, and in spite of the nearby roads, the hotel itself feels peaceful and quiet.

Scene

Vivid colors and contemporary style

The friendly lobby is bright and colorful, with a high ceiling and spacious entryway. Guests checking in will find the large reception desk in the back left corner, next to a 24-hour market pantry with toiletries and snacks for sale. To the right is the small on-site restaurant, and fruit-infused water, cookies, and coffee are available. There’s plenty of seating and tables, and a group meeting area with a beautiful oak table and hot-pink chairs is separated from the main lobby by a fireplace. A doorway also leads out to a front outdoor patio, with tables and chairs as well as a large stone fountain.
