Delphin Deluxe Resort

Part of the Delphin chain, Delphin Deluxe Resort is a beachfront resort surrounded by palm trees and the Taurus Mountains. Guests receive a welcome drink and snack on arrival in the large lobby, with the ceiling open to all six floors. Decor is sophisticated. Glass elevators shoot up to the top floor, which overlooks the spacious lobby seating area. The hallways are just as elegant with suede seating, small chandeliers, contemporary artwork, mirrors, and large glass windows that let in natural light. The main restaurant has a relaxed atmosphere with central buffet station and surrounding indoor and outdoor seating. Each of the specialized restaurants have an individual flair and theme. The main outdoor swimming pool is the biggest and most active compared to the smaller pool, the two kids' pools, the relax pool, the small hot tub pool under the palm trees, and the long indoor swimming pool with an adjacent hot tub. Delphin Deluxe Resort is suitable for families, couples, and business travelers with enough facilities available to satisfy most needs.

Delphin Deluxe Resort is located right on Okurcalar Beach in the resort town of Alanya, with a dedicated area on the beach for hotel guests. The beach is mostly pebbles instead of sand, making it hard to swim from shore without shoes -- though there's a pier which offers a better spot from which to swim. The surrounding area is mostly other hotels and there's little in the way of restaurants and shops within close walking distance. It's a 25-minute drive to Manavgat, 30-minute drive to Side, and 41-minute drive to Alanya -- the hotel provides a free shuttle service to all three towns. There's a bus stop across the road from the hotel, as well as free on-site parking for guests with their own cars. Antalya Airport is an hour and 15 minutes away by car and Gazipasa Airport is an hour and 18-minute drive from the hotel.

The 498 guest rooms at Delphin Deluxe Resort follow a similar simple and contemporary design throughout. There are only four room options, varying mostly in the available views which include: Land View Room, Side Sea View Room, Sea View Room, and Family Room.  Family Rooms are housed in a separate building from the main hotel building. Decor is modern with a twist. It features standard white and beige furniture, walls, and linens. The art-designed curtains, contemporary artwork, large mirrors, and unusually shaped black sofa add an unexpectedly edgy element to the rooms. All rooms include air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, electric kettles, desks, safes, telephones, free Wi-Fi, and private balconies. Some rooms have panoramic views of the Mediterranean Sea, while rooms overlooking the park receive complaints of noise from the nearby highway. Bathrooms feature walk-in showers, hairdryers, magnifying mirrors, and  Delphin branded toiletries. Bathrobes and slippers are provided.

There are tons of features and constant activities at Delphin Deluxe Resort. Rates are all-inclusive with the option of dining at eight restaurants, 18 bars, and a patisserie. The main restaurant serves buffet breakfasts, lunches, and dinners daily while the other seven restaurants (each only open one day a week) offer an a la carte menu specializing in various cuisines including Turkish, seafood, Greek, Mexican, Chinese, Italian, Japanese, and Thai. There are a total of six swimming pools, both indoor and outdoor, including kids' shallow pools. More activity features include an aqua park with two slides, amusement park, mini-club, fitness center, beach volleyball, tennis courts, table tennis, and water sports. There's also a full-day entertainment program including sports tournaments, pool games, revue shows, sketches, and disco. The spa and wellness center, Laden Spa, includes a Turkish hammam with a variety of different massage and beauty treatments on offer. Meeting and conference facilities are available, with capacity for up to 400 guests. Freebies include a shuttle to nearby towns, free on-site parking, and free Wi-Fi throughout the property.
