Behind the blue facade is a highly designed, modern, slightly kooky atmosphere. The lobby is lit with enchanting LED lighting, gold-leaf walls, and a glowing reception desk. Spiral staircases, sleek, bright furniture, and tile flooring make the space feel cheerful and lively. This hotel lives up to its name: It’s truly an original.
The small, pretty breakfast/bar area has handsome wood floors, crisp white walls, and bright turquoise countertops. The small boutique feels homey but hopelessly cool, like a trip to visit a wild friend with impeccably chic and funky/dreamy style.

Some are entirely white, with jellyfish-like wisps hanging from chandeliers; some beds are draped in furs, and one bathroom is tiled in gorgeous iridescent mosaics. Linens are high quality and plush. In the rooms that face the busy street, traffic noise can get loud. All rooms have free Wi-Fi and flat-screen TVs.
