Well-heeled couples and other leisure travelers who frequent this boutique hotel don't lack for intimate spaces with an exclusive vibe. The lavish lobby's dark wood floors and ceiling set the swanky tone, and there's rich, on-trend carpeting, a wall of backlit bookcases dotted with hardcovers and curios, and a mirrored bar. It’s a hushed atmosphere with tons of nooks to settle into. The cozy interior courtyard is equally enticing, filled with lush tropical plants and twinkling fairy lights. The sultry pool wins the prize for the most romantic spot, with a grotto-like offshoot in the steamy hammam. 

The hotel's prime 1st Arrondissement address a is major perk. It's set on a quiet street in a neighborhood filled with exclusive high-end shops and pricey restaurants, and many of Paris's top sights are within a short walk. There are also two metro stops within a five-minute walk. 

It's roughly four minutes on foot to reach the Tuileries, and the Carrousel du Louvre entrance on Rue du Rivoli -- the best way to access the Louvre Museum -- is about an eight-minute walk. Using the metro, expect 15 minutes to the Musee d'Orsay, 16 minutes to the Champs-Élysées, 18 minutes to Notre Dame, and 34 minutes to the Eiffel Tower. 

Gare du Nord is a 17-minute metro ride. Driving to Charles de Gaulle Airport takes roughly 53 minutes, and it's about 46 minutes to Orly Airport.

Guest rooms at Le Roch Hotel & Spa are attractive and polished, with the same decor found in the rest of the hotel. Some are accented with saturated hues like emerald green and teal, and others stick to a sophisticated blend of neutrals. There's rich-looking furniture, sleek lighting, and floor-to-ceiling windows. All rooms are outfitted with air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, minibars, espresso machines, terrycloth robes, and slippers. They also have retro Marshall bluetooth speakers and free Wi-Fi.  

Bathrooms are a highlight, with Italian marble, walnut trim, attractive vanities with deep drawers, and traditional English fixtures. Some feature oversize soaking tubs, and others have roomy walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads. There are heated towel racks, Codage bath products, and some bathrooms in higher-end units have saunas.

Most rooms offer streets views, although some overlook the interior courtyard. Cosy (standard) rooms are on the small side but still comfortable and well-configured. The Suites and Superior, Deluxe, and Prestige rooms are quite spacious.

This luxury boutique hotel is chock full of attractive amenities, with its fabulous pool and hammam topping the list, but there's no sauna. There's also a full-service spa that offers in-room treatments, and a bright fitness center that's a bit small, but it has mirrored walls and up-to-date equipment. Personal trainers are available upon request.

For dining, the hotel’s upscale restaurant features creative and diverse seasonal menus for lunch and dinner, and there's an excellent hot buffet breakfast, but it's expensive and doesn't come included. The lobby has a cocktail bar that serves drinks late into the evening. The hotel also offers room service.  

The service-centric hotel’s concierge services include personal shoppers and valet laundry. A private car with a driver is also available. Wi-Fi is free throughout, and pets are welcome with a surcharge, but there's no on-site parking.
