The Pullman Paris Bercy is a large chain hotel geared towards business travelers. The lobby is a large, bright space featuring contemporary decor with a few pops of color, gleaming floors, several sitting areas -- including one outdoors where guests can enjoy drinks from the lobby bar -- and floor-to-ceiling windows that let in tons of light. This decor, and the overall business-y vibe, extend to the rest of the hotel, which is a popular pick for corporate meetings.
Location
In Bercy, near shops, restaurants, and the metro
The hotel is located on a quiet street in the Bercy district, a gentrified former warehouse neighborhood. There are no attractions within walking distance, but Bercy Village -- home to dozens of restaurants, bars, movie theaters, and shops -- is right next door. The M14 metro line, offering quick, easy access to most major sights in Paris, is just two blocks away. The Gare du Lyon is a six-minute drive away, and Charles de Gaulle airport can be reached in about 45 minutes by car.
Rooms
Spacious and bright, with upscale amenities and free Wi-Fi
The hotel’s 396 rooms all feature similar contemporary decor, with gray walls, a couple of green touches in pillows and chaise lounges, large white back-lit headboards, and blonde wood furniture. Superior Rooms (the standard room type here) have simpler wood headboards and fewer pops of color, but are equally stylish. Beds have crisp white linens and at least four pillows. Flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, free bottled water, and Roger Gallet toiletries are standard amenities. All but Superior Rooms also have iPod docks, Nespresso coffeemakers, and stocked minibars (Superiors have an empty mini-fridge and an electric kettle instead). All bathrooms have tubs with rain shower heads. There are a number of accessible and connecting rooms, and cribs and cots are available upon request.
