Hotel Beverly Plaza Pattaya

The Beverly Plaza Hotel is a budget hotel catering primarily to male groups of friends and solo travelers. Most guests are of Indian descent, although some are from other parts of Asia or Europe. The decor throughout is largely dated and worn, such as the restaurant's red patterned seating and the lobby's shiny silver tufted armchairs. The outdoor pool and adjacent Beer Garden are pleasant, but guests generally spend their time outside of the hotel. Many travelers are willing to overlook the outdated features for the hotel's convenient setting near the beach and Walking Street.

The Beverly Plaza Hotel's best feature is its central location in Pattaya, a quick five-minute walk to both Pattaya Beach and Walking Street. There are ample restaurants, bars, and shops within easy walking distance, and most attractions are within a 40-minute drive. On-site parking is free.

Beverly Plaza Hotel has 190 spacious, air-conditioned rooms with a mix of contemporary and outdated furnishings, many of which are showing age. Decor varies by room, but most consist of neutral-tone tile floors, white walls, old-fashioned wood furniture -- some with granite accents -- and pops of color in the bed runners and window dressings. Rooms come equipped with minibars, either flat-screen or tube-style TVs, and tea- and coffee-making facilities. In-room Wi-Fi is available for a fee, and safety boxes are located in the lobby. Straightforward bathrooms have shower/tub combos and a couple of toiletries. There are no balconies, which is surprising for Pattaya. Upper-floor rooms are recommended by prior guests. 

Beverly Plaza Hotel's main feature is it's outdoor rectangular pool, which is sufficient for swimming laps or just wading. There is no kiddy pool and it's worth noting that the deck is small and surrounded by urban buildings. However, there is a refreshing Beer Garden in one corner. In-room Thai massages can be arranged, but there's no gym.

The Four Seasons 24-hour coffee shop has casual indoor and outdoor seating options by the pool. Most rates include breakfast, which receives positive reviews and can be taken poolside. The two restaurants serve Indian and Chinese food, though food is reportedly average. Some guests advise against the meal plan because of the lack of variety of the food.
