Crest Resort & Pool Villas

Opened in 2016, Crest Resort and Pool Villas is a modern property with a chic design, lovely hillside setting, and ocean-inspired hues. Polished marble floors, contemporary wicker furniture, screens with cutouts, and blue fabrics create a stylish, relaxed look. There’s not a ton of leisure space here, and most guests tend to congregate around the outdoor pool with sea views, or at the rooftop lounge when evening entertainment is offered. There’s little in the immediate area, making the hotel best for low-key tourists or travelers who don’t mind taxing one of the free shuttles or a taxi to explore Phuket. Most guests here are couples, though friends and families are also found here.

Crest Resort and Pool Villas is located on a hill on the southwestern coast of Phuket, Thailand. There’s little in the immediate area, though some other resorts and restaurants are within walking distance, including Rosewood Phuket. There are a couple of beaches within easy driving distance, and the hotel provides free shuttle service to Paradise Beach (seven-minute drive) and Patong area (10 minutes). Tourist attractions such as Big Buddha and Phuket Zoo are both within a 40-minute drive. Phuket International Airport is about an hour’s drive north, depending on traffic.

The 144 Crest Resort and Pool Villas rooms are divided into 110 Deluxe Rooms and 34 Deluxe and Premium Pool Villas. All units are modern, stylish, and spacious, featuring wooden floors, wood furniture with curved edges, and either gold or robin egg’s blue fabric. All rooms have furnished balconies or patios, and upgraded categories have access to a shared pool, private pools, and/or sea views. Bathrooms have rainfall showers, free ample toiletries, bathrobes and slippers, and hairdryers. Many units add separate bathtubs. It’s worth noting that the open-plan style of bathrooms may pose privacy issues for some guests. Standard amenities include flat-screen TVs, free Wi-Fi, desks, iPod docks, coffee- and tea-making facilities, minibars, and electronic safes. Premium Pool Villas add sofa beds, small dining areas, and espresso machines.

There are limited but sufficient features at Crest Resort and Pool Villas. The highlight here is the outdoor pool, which is a decent size and has a swim-up bar. The surrounding deck is lined with umbrella-shaded loungers, and beautiful sea views are available here. Though the hotel is not directly on the beach, several are within a short drive, and the hotel provides free shuttle service to Paradise Beach, about a seven-minute drive away.

Set down the hill from the property is the PRIMA & Holistic Wellness Village Center, which has five massage treatment rooms, a Thai massage room, and a foot massage room. Two of the rooms are huge and have bathtubs, while all have steam rooms. A variety of wellness therapies and salon services are available here. Back at the hotel’s main building is a small fitness center with both cardio and strength-training machines. There’s a colorful kids’ club, as well as a game room with billiards and a ping-pong table.

For food, Atmos restaurant is open all day, serving breakfast buffets and both local and international cuisine for other meals. Food receives positive reviews from past guests. Pano is an executive lounge with huge glass windows that offer stellar views of the sea and surrounding hillsides. Food and beverages are offered here. The rooftop Dive Sky Lounge has stellar sea views, live entertainment in the evenings, and a menu of both drinks and snacks. It’s also a popular spot for weddings.

Wi-Fi is free throughout the property. Corporate events and weddings can be arranged.
