The KEE Resort & Spa

The Kee Resort and Spa’s sleek exterior includes a massive fingerprint, belonging to late-owner Ama Siu Gee, a Miss Songkran beauty winner, who was known for her community involvement. Gee died in 2010 before the resort opened. Today her fingerprint is the resort’s logo.

The large resort -- attached to the Kee Plaza with 60 stores and restaurants -- features an open-air lobby and stylish rattan furniture. The atmosphere is young and hip, with many guests walking around in beachwear. To ensure the safety and comfort of guests, there are women-only and family zones.

The Kee Resort & Spa has a prime location right in the center of Patong’s lively nightlife scene. The resort is a five-minute walk to Bangla Road, and near the red-light district. The beach is within a two-minute walk, Jungceylon shopping mall is 10- to 15-minute walk, and Phuket Town Promthep Cape, with its beautiful views, are within a half-hour drive. As for other sights, elephant trekking at Camp Chang Kalim, Phuket Surf, and the Phuket Fantasea live show are within a 20-minute drive. The airport is about 45 minutes away by car.

There are Plaza, Deluxe, Deluxe Pool View, Deluxe with hot tub, Deluxe Pool Access Rooms, and Sea View Suites. Colorful pillows, sofa beds, green writing desks, and light-wood headboards create a hip atmosphere. Modern bathrooms have rainfall showers, soaking tubs, or both. All rooms have flat-screen TVs and keyboards, slippers, bathrobes, flashlights, mini-fridges, coffeemakers, safes, flip-flops, and beach towels. Pool Access Rooms have terraces with submerged ledges and jets. Balconies and terraces face the sea, pool, or the tin plaza rooftop. Some rooms have hot tubs on garden terraces. 

At the center of the five-floor resort is a blue-tiled pool that comes alive at night with colorful lights, a large fountain, a semi-submerged deck with lounge chairs, and a swim-up bar. Rattan lounge chairs and white umbrellas are on the palm-shaded deck, positioned close together. There’s also a kids' pool.

The Sky Lounge Bar is a sexy setting with a stage, colorful patio chairs, rattan sofas, and panoramic sea views. There’s also a cafe with take-out food. The Kee Kitchen is casual with a buffet. Kee Drinks draws the partygoers with foosball, flat-screen TVs, and a colorful lounge. The Kee Rooftop Restaurant provides great views.

The resort offers a business center that looks like a store with booth seating, tables, and chairs, a flat-screen TV, a laptop, free Wi-Fi, a printer, and books. There are also four meeting rooms that can fit up to 228 people, with audiovisual equipment and catering available, and a rooftop terrace, The stylish spa has eight bright treatment rooms, and there's a billiard room, and a fitness center, with cardio- and weight-training equipment, free weights, and a flat-screen TV. The colorful small kids' club has bean bags, toys, and a TV. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the property.
