Hilton Prague is housed in a blocky building made up of clean lines from modern steel and sharp angles from glass architecture. The
lobby opens up into a massive, sleek atrium featuring a pyramid-vaulted glass ceiling. Guests are able to relax on multiple levels in chocolate leather seating set on glossy cream and tan floors. With trees, plants, and flowers planted around the edges of the atrium and in boxes placed here and there, it feels like an outdoor courtyard. Some parts of the hotel are chic and stylish, like the rooftop bar with multi-colored mood lighting and contemporary leather seating. Overall, the hotel has a 21st-century minimalist style that’s not overly luxurious, but still on par with the Hilton brand of contemporary and sophisticated decor. The biggest drawback for some guests is
that many parts of the hotel allow for smoking. Clientele are primarily business guests as well as couples who appreciate the modernity and full-service features of the hotel.

The Hilton Prague is situated just off the banks of Vltava River, between the historic district and the business district. It’s conveniently
located near restaurants and public transportation; there’s a trolley stop and a metro that’s five minutes away on foot. But the historic Old Town -- full of restaurants, shops, and tourist sites such as the famed astronomical clock -- is about a 20-minute walk away or five-minute drive. Other sights are too far to reach on foot and are better suited to driving. Prague Castle is a 10-minute drive from the hotel, while
Charles Bridge can be reached in seven minutes in a car. It’s a 25-minute drive to Vaclav Havel Airport Prague.

Compared to the rest of the hotel, guest rooms are conservative, with a neutral gray palette. Headboards with gray padding and blond wood furnishings complement the gray curtains and white linens, while the neutral-toned art pieces and photographs add a modern touch.
All rooms have air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, coffee- and tea-making facilities, evening room service, and minibars. Wi-Fi is not free, however. Upgrading to the Executive Rooms or the Suites will get you free breakfast, plus each Suite has a seating area with sofa beds, a kitchenette with a microwave, and an extra bathroom. Some rooms have views of the city, while others have views of the atrium and lobby. There are smoking rooms available as well. Simple, tiled bathrooms
are sleek with granite countertops. They include robes, hairdryers, and
shower/tub combos. Executive Rooms and Suites have separate showers and tubs, though Suites are outfitted with three-body jet showers.

The Hilton Prague is best known for its conference hall and its extensive meeting facilities. There are 38 meeting rooms, a Congress Hall, and Grand Ballroom that covers over 48,000 square feet and
holds up to 650 people. Guests can make use of the free Wi-Fi in the
common areas and the business center. (In-room Wi-Fi is an additional fee.) The Executive Lounge is available to guests who have booked Executive Rooms; it offers light snacks, breakfast, and drinks throughout the day.

The hotel’s centerpiece is its stunning atrium, which is home to a cafe, Cafe and Bistro, that serves light fare throughout the day, and the Atrium Restaurant that offers a pricey breakfast buffet in the mornings. The hotel’s stylish, hip rooftop lounge and bar, Cloud 9 Sky Bar and Lounge, has stunning views and late night hours.

Free drinks, an open buffet, slot machines, and table games are available in the hotel’s on-site casino. There’s a full-service spa that offers beauty treatments and massages, as well as a steam room and sauna. The wellness facilities also include an indoor pool and hot tub. The fitness center is large and offers diverse cardio machines, weight machines, free weights, and fitness classes. Other amenities include a gift shop as well as valet and self-parking for a fee.
