Spanning six-stories high and situated atop a hill, Alpenresort Belvedere Wellness & Beauty overlooks picturesque Lake Molveno, and many rooms with balconies feature panoramic views of the village, lake, and mountains. The lobby is bright and airy, with dark brown furniture and large picture-windows. Public spaces throughout the hotel -- including the restaurant and spa -- feature upscale decor and furnishings. Light wood flooring is prominent throughout and there's a glass enclosed dining room with prominent views of the mountains.

Alpenresort Belvedere Wellness & Beauty's location in the mountains makes it ideal for skiing and other outdoor activities. The hotel is near both the Groste 2 Express and Spinale gondolas, which offer breathtaking aerial views of the landscape. Cars are not required to explore the area, as the resort is located near shops and restaurants.

There are a number of hotels located within walking or biking distance, and some feature authentic Italian restaurants. Lake Molveno is a quick five-minute walk down the road. It is the second largest inland natural lake in Trentino, and is great for swimming, sailing, canoeing, windsurfing, and fishing. Trails are also marked all around the lake for hiking. Meanwhile, Dolomiti Airport is one hour away by car. Covered parking at the hotel is a great perk, as is a free shuttle to the ski lifts.

The swank rooms at the Alpenresort Belvedere range from studio-sized units to two-story suites that sleep groups of four. Rustic meets modern in the rooms, where stone walls might be paired with light-colored wood flooring. Knotted and unvarnished wood, which makes up much of the furniture and wall paneling, is a big part of the minimalist theme. Luxurious features, however, keep the rooms from being too Ikea-like. There are double rooms, for example, with soaking tubs or saunas. Not everyone will like the look of the hotel's more minimalist rooms, which include a glass wall between the bathroom sink and bedroom area. Flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi are standard.

Space is another luxury: even double rooms are spacious enough to have couches for lounging, and big bathrooms. Bathrooms have separate shower and toilet areas, as well as rainfall showerheads. Many rooms feature balconies that have panoramic views of the mountain range and the lake.

Besides the opportunity to ski-in and ski-out right from the resort, the hotel offers the perfect way to end a day on the slopes. The luxury spa and health club features a Turkish bath, sauna, soaking tubs, and a variety of treatments including massages, facials, and body scrubs. There’s an indoor pool with an adjacent whirlpool and a kids' pool with a slide. The kids' club has a ball pit, toys, and foosball table. An on-site restaurant called La Perla del Lago serves lunch and dinner, and room service is available during limited hours. Breakfast buffet is included with the price of a room.
