Lindos Princess Beach Hotel

An impressive vaulted glass ceiling and palms greet guests at the hotel's opulent entryway. A gold revolving door leads into a sprawling marble lobby that can feel crowded from the overflow of guests at the front desk, which is decorated with a Greek-inspired column facade and mural backdrop. The grounds are manicured and include star fountains and lighted walkways. The occasional portrait artist sets up an easel in the indoor hallways. A pathway -- flanked by large lawns and two-story bungalows with rooms -- leads to the private, shingle beach, where there are blue lounge chairs, umbrellas, showers, a lifeguard stand, and a water-sports rental shack.

Kids are not forgotten here: There's a fish-shaped pool for toddlers, and the kids' pool has three blue- and-white slides. The main pool has blue bridges, mountain views, an island, swim-up bar, and activities hosted by the animation team. Blue umbrellas and lounge chairs line the deck. In the spa, there’s a small hot tub and an indoor pool with an atrium glass ceiling, a blue-tiled deck, and white lounge chairs.

The Lindos Princess Beach Hotel is on the fringes of Lindos -- which is a 12-minute drive away. The airport is about an hour and 10 minutes away. The popular medieval town of Rhodes -- with the Ancient Olympic Stadium and the Grand Master of Knights Palace -- is more than an hour away by car. There are multiple rental car companies within 10 minutes' walking distance of the resort. It’s a five-minute walk to the beach, where there are water sports rentals and boat rides. The Lepia Dive Center -- with scuba diving tours -- is 10 minutes away by car.

The hotel offers Double Rooms, Family Rooms, and Executive Suites that feature undistinguished light wood furniture and blue or gray decor. All rooms have writing desks, beach towels, mini-refrigerators, and safes (for a fee). Double Rooms have tile floors and balconies with partial and full sea views. Family Rooms and Suites have living rooms, tile floors, two sofa beds, and terraces (in some) with gardens. Executive Suites offer living rooms, tube and flat-screen TVs, bathrobes and slippers, wood floors, two bathrooms, whirlpool tubs, two balconies, and a welcome fruit basket. Marble bathrooms come with tub/shower combinations, hairdryers, phones, and toiletries.

The spa’s sauna, hot tub, and pool are free for guests. There’s also a beach-themed treatment room.

There are several restaurants right on the property, and rates are all-inclusive. The main restaurant, Spondi, has a terrace and a buffet. The Greek restaurant has murals and classic decor. The L'Osteria restaurant serves Italian food in a casual setting. On the beach is the Aeolos restaurant and bar. The Dionysos main bar has marble floors and high ceilings. The Aegean pool bar offers a swim-up deck.

Three meeting rooms are also available. The Clio room can fit up to 500 people and has a roof veranda. The Eyridiki and Electra rooms can fit 80 people each.
