with antique furniture and rich colors, making it seem regal and old-fashioned -- although some find it verging on gaudy.
The classic decor elements include a red patterned carpet, brass colored
details, and an exposed antique-looking wire elevator. A sitting room has
velvet couches and high-back chairs in purple, rose, and green. Glass chandeliers
hang from the high ceilings with crown molding. While the hotel has a convenient location for both business and leisure travelers, most who stay here are couples who enjoy the refined atmosphere.
