Inside the lobby, the look is smart and business-like with a small desk and clear plastic chairs in the corner, and an espresso machine. There are a few armchairs and a set of stairs (no elevator available) that lead to upper floors. Though it’s a generally quiet hotel, this historic property does have thin walls and bothersome noise can be heard in the evenings or early morning. Most guests are families and couples who don’t mind the lack of an atmosphere, public spaces, or amenities and just prefer enough space and self-sufficient kitchenettes to use during their trip to Rome.
