Bottom Line

Within a short walk of a long, sandy beach, Hotel
Florida Park is a mid-range, chain hotel with 358 rooms and low rates. The hotel has a big outdoor pool area, a small spa, and a spacious fitness center. Guests report that the food at the buffet restaurant is good, and there’s also a bar and snack bar with outdoor dining areas. Room packages are
divided into two categories, and the Privilege Package comes with a lot of
perks, including free Wi-Fi, better lounge chairs at the pool, and free access
to the fitness center and spa. Rooms are pleasant but forgettable, with generic decor and small beds. Guests report feeling a bit nickel-and-dimed, though, on in-room fees for safes, kettles, mini-fridges, and irons. Travelers may also want to check out the Aqua Hotel Aquamarina, a modern hotel with posh dining areas and a large spa.

Hotel Florida Park

Scene

Pretty outdoor spaces and well-presented buffet restaurant

Hotel Florida Park has bright indoor spaces and pretty outdoor spaces. The path leading up to the pool is particularly attractive, with potted topiaries, tall lampposts, and grassy lawns with trees. At the snack bar, a cute little courtyard area with tables under white umbrellas is cordoned off with brown flower boxes holding mini pine trees, shrubs, and pink flowers. The buffet restaurant has a variety of theme nights --  including Sailor Night, Medieval Night, and Polynesian Night -- when the food focuses on specific themes. A lot of care is put into the food presentation -- fruit is carved, and desserts are presented with flair. The restaurant has a porch area with rattan chairs with orange cushions, where guests can dine outdoors.
