Mystique Luxury Collection Hotel has an off-white facade, rather than the clean whitewashed exterior that's most common in Santorini structures. Mystique Luxury Collection Hotel is set on Oia's steep, sloping hillside, overlooking the Aegean Sea on the northwest side of Santorini Island. The entrance is located just off Oia's main thoroughfare, meaning there are quite a few steep stairs along a cobblestone path to reach the hotel. It's not too far a walk to the main Oia street where there's a high concentration of shops, restaurants, and bars. The closest beach, Ammoudi Beach, is a 20-minute walk from the hotel and the less popular Baxedes Beach is a six-minute drive. The Santorini Airport is a 30-minute drive, and the main Santorini Port is a 35-minute drive -- the hotel offers a free transfer service.

The suites and villas are immaculately finished with nature-inspired decor in the form of hand crafted driftwood and stone furnishings, along with a blend of contemporary and stylish furniture for a neutral and simple look that's classic luxury. There are seven types of rooms available: the Vibrant Suites, Allure Suites, Wet Allure Suites, Spiritual Suite & Spa, Secrecy Villas, All 2 Senses Suites, and the Mystery Villa. Each comes with a hot tub (some with both indoor and outdoor hot tubs), air-conditioning, flat-screen TVs, iPod dock, alarm clock, safe, minibar, tea/coffee making facilities (including a Nespresso machine), and free Wi-Fi. All rooms have a private terrace with outdoor furniture. The Mystery and Secrecy villas feature private infinity pools; those two room types and the Spiritual Suite & Spa include a private fitness room with a treadmill, bicycle, power plate, spa bed, and weights. Fresh fruit and snacks are left in the rooms daily. The bathrooms are light and airy, with stall showers or shower/tub combos. Nice extras include a hairdryer and Greek luxe natural toiletries -- along with slippers, bathrobes, bottled water, and magnifying mirror. Rooms are serviced twice daily, with the option of a turndown service.

Mystique Luxury Collection Hotel is committed to providing guests with high quality features and luxurious experiences. Guests never have to leave the hotel to dine thanks to the two on-site restaurants: the Charisma Greek Restaurant and Asea Lounge Restaurant for Japanese cuisine and sushi. The traditional Greek breakfast is included in the room rates, and is served in the restaurants. The infinity pool on the sundeck is adequately sized (by Santorini standards) and has surrounding sun lounges and umbrellas -- along with poolside bar service. Ice cold water and snacks served to guests at the pool are a nice touch. There's also a 150-year-old wine cave with a rare and indigenous wine selection; staff can arrange a candlelit dinner for two in this romantic setting. 24-hour room service is available. 

The spa includes two treatment rooms, offering Asian-inspired treatments drawing on natural resources for their ingredients. Some rooms include a private fitness room and there's a small fitness center open to all guests.
