Eden Village Colostrai

Set up like a village, the hotel has beautiful grounds with manicured lawns, stone walkways, and vine-covered arches. The large lobby is airy with stone floors, exposed wood beams, and wicker lounge furniture. Many families choose to stay here. There’s an entertainment staff that organizes games and activities for two age groups, 3–12 and 12–18. The hotel also provides babysitting services for a fee, and has set off an area of the dining room for children. The big outdoor pool area has a smaller children’s pool, and there’s an outdoor theater where cabarets are performed.

Villagio Colostrai is located on a paved road on the southeast coast of Sardinia, and overlooks Colostrai. The hotel is a bit isolated, but is in a nature area that provides wildlife sightings, as well as ocean and mountain views. Muravera, famous for its fruit orchards, is within a 15-minute drive. The beautiful beaches of Costa Rey are a 30-minute drive away, and Cagliari International Airport is an hour and 10 minutes away by car.

Spacious but basic guest rooms have light-colored walls and tile floors. Rooms are light and airy with light-blue bedspreads and light-wood headboards and bureaus with blue accents. Bathrooms are big with ceramic blue tiles and rain showerheads. All rooms have flat-screen TVs and minibars. Some rooms have ceiling fans, small patios, or sea-view balconies.

The spacious restaurant, which serves Sardinian cuisine, has a bar and wraparound windows. A free breakfast buffet with hot and cold items is provided daily. The pool area has palm trees and mountain views. The hotel has two bocce courts, a tennis court, and a soccer field. The beach has lounge chairs, umbrellas, and a bar. Canoeing and windsurfing are available for a fee, and raft trips are also organized from the beach for a fee. The hotel also offers other services, such as diving classes, babysitting, massages, and a shuttle to the Church of Costa Rei on Sundays, for a fee. Parking at the hotel is free.
