Hotel Las Casas de El Arenal is a boutique property set in two traditional 18th century Sevillian homes that are linked together by lovely courtyards. The exterior of the building is an elegant gold color, while the interior courtyards have a mix of white, rose, or gold-colored walls. The courtyards all feature lovely historic tiles or stones, green potted plants, beautiful flowers, and darling tables and chairs for guests to relax in. The interior speaks to the historic nature of the hotel, as it’s a mix of a traditional and classic styles that create an overall elegant atmosphere. The dark wooden front desk complements the antique armchairs and couches found throughout the property. Hallways and sitting rooms are decorated with large ornate rugs and floral curtains that are paired with gilded-framed paintings and charming chandeliers. This attracts mostly couples or small friend groups.

Hotel Las Casas de El Arenal has an ideal location in the historic city center of Seville. It’s a four-minute walk to the Plaza de Toros and a 13-minute walk to Torre del Oro. Seville Cathedral and the Royal Alcazar takes six minutes to reach on foot. It’s a 21-minute walk to Plaza de Espana. The hotel’s neighborhood is filled with restaurants and shops. For a different flavor, guests can walk 20 minutes to the bohemian area of Triana for diverse restaurants. The closest tram and bus stop is a five-minute walk away, while the nearest metro takes 10 minutes to reach. It’s a 23-minute drive to Seville Airport. 

Hotel Las Casas de El Arenal is a historic hotel, so guests should expect a range of small-to-medium rooms, sometimes with odd configurations and layouts. The decor is elegant with a traditional twist that includes wooden floors, wooden beds with white bedding, floral curtains, and antique furniture. Historic elements can be found in some rooms with wooden ceilings and exposed beams. Flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, kettles, instant coffee, tea bags, minibars, and free Wi-Fi are available in all rooms. Some rooms have small balconies, just large enough for a single guest to step out on. Take note that not all rooms have great views, as some are limited to plain walls of inner courtyards. The cream bathrooms are lovely. Some have soaking tubs (with and without jets) and separate showers, while others come with a shower/tub combo. Toiletries and hairdryers are provided.  

Hotel Las Casas de El Arenal has limited features, but that’s not out of the norm for boutique hotels in Seville. There’s a breakfast provided each morning (which can be included in room rates) that includes a beautiful display of cured meats, tomatoes, hard boiled eggs, Spanish omelets, smoked salmon, cheeses, pastries, individually potted jams, and fresh fruit. Guests can relax in one of the small courtyards that have a few tables and chairs, or gather in the charming reading room. There’s also the option to catch a few rays on the rooftop solarium in a comfy lounger. One meeting room is available to rent. Wi-Fi is free and guests can borrow a tablet from the front desk. On-site parking is available and costs a fee.
