This farmhouse is set in the countryside, surrounded by the landscape of the Val di Noto. It has a refreshing swimming pool and barbecue area and is tranquil, clean, and comfortable. Artemisia Resort is surrounded by a wall comprised of the same large, dry stones used in the hotel's construction. The dining setup is very much DIY, with table settings, utensils, seasonings, and a barbecue provided. The spa and pool have a luxurious, elegant feel but the spotlessly clean rooms and garden makes the Artemisia feel more like a comfortable, large countryside bed and breakfast than a resort. Kiddos are welcome, but the property is more popular with couples than families.

It’s a 10-minute drive to the nearby city of Ragusa Ibla, Donnafugata Castle, and Marina di Ragusa, and 20 minutes to the Chiaramonte museums. If you’re up for a trek, you can reach the Trabacche Cave within an hour on foot. The drive to Comiso Airport takes less than a half hour and Cantania Fontanarossa Airport takes around an hour and a half. The closest restaurant is in Monna Lisa, a five-minute drive away. On-site parking is free.
