Situated across the street from the gorgeous white sand Siesta Key Beach, Beach Palms has suites and cottages that suit travelers and families in search of a quiet and relaxing stay at reasonable rates. The property is reminiscent of Old Florida and the candy colored cottages bring to mind the kaleidoscopic hues of Key West. The lovely and vibrant grounds include three cottages and a main building, a white two-story structure with turquoise detailing, where the suites and office are located. The buildings are surrounded by palm trees and lush plants, with plenty of garden furniture, sun loungers, and hammocks scattered about the property. The beach is visible from the main building and the lovely waterfront is a short walk through a grassy expanse bordering the sand.

The interiors are clean and bright, filled with lots of natural light, though decor is dated and furniture is a mash-up of styles and textures (wicker chairs coupled with pastel hued floral patterned couches). There are no common spaces or amenities such as a lobby, dining room, or pool, as this property is not a hotel, but geared towards rentals, providing guests with all the essentials. The Beach Palms particularly attracts families, who enjoy the self-sufficient cottages and proximity to both beach and restaurants and shops. The atmosphere at the Beach Palms is peaceful, sunny, and relaxed.

Beach Palms is located on Siesta Key, across the street from the beautiful white sand Siesta Key Beach in a quiet residential area. The nearest airport is the Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport, which is 10 miles away and about a half-hour drive from the hotel.

Beach Palms consists of two suite units, which are located in the main building, as well as three separate cottages. The decor is a bit dated and some items are in need of an upgrade. The interiors are light and bright, courtesy of large windows and white walls. White bedrooms have cheap and colorful bedspreads and tropical Floridian paintings adorning the walls. Aged, pastel patterned couches in the living rooms could use an update. Bathrooms in all units are small, though clean, and lack toiletries besides soap. All units come with beach chairs and umbrellas.

The one-bedroom suites have sunny and spacious living rooms with sofa beds as well as a full kitchen or kitchenette. The Beach Tree Suite has a small kitchenette with two-burner stove, microwave, toaster, coffeemaker, fridge, and kitchenware, while the Beach View Suite’s fully equipped kitchen also includes a dishwasher and stove with oven. Suites have access to a brick patio with lounge chairs and private grills.
