Surrounded by old local housing estates and industrial buildings, Park Hotel Alexandra looks slightly out of place with its dark, sleek exterior that towers over the area. Inside, guests will find a bright, spacious lobby with pleasant sand-colored interiors. Other common areas, such as the restaurant on the seventh floor, are stylish and elegant, and even though Park Hotel Alexandra attracts a mix of guests traveling for work and families for leisure, the overall atmosphere of the property is rather calm.

The hotel is a bit remote (by Singapore standards, that is), but shopping malls like Anchorpoint and Queensway Shopping Centre, as well as IKEA, are within walking distance. Sentosa is also only 15 minutes away by car. Getting to metro stations like HarbourFront on foot is a challenge, but with the hotel’s free shuttle bus service, it’s simple enough for those who don't want to rely on taxis. Areas like Marina Bay and City Hall are less than 20 minutes away by car. Changi Airport is best reached by car, and the journey should take no more than 30 minutes.

Aside from the size and views, the key difference is that guests staying in the latter two have categories have access to the Crystal Club Lounge and get to enjoy some other nice extras, such as organic bath amenities and bathtubs in addition to walk-in rainfall showers. Park Hotel Alexandra also offers free shuttle bus services, dropping guests off daily at metro stations like HarbourFront MRT and precincts like Orchard Road.
