PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road occupies a large multistory building located in the middle of the vibrant Little India neighborhood. The lobby is spacious and bright, with beige marble-effect floors and brown paneling on the walls, but it lacks the sense of arrival expected of an upscale hotel. There are a few plants and contemporary-style sofas scattered here and there, but the space looks more like the vast lobby of an office building rather than a fancy hotel. With over 500 guest rooms, the property is always bustling with people and the reception area and breakfast room can get busy at peak times. The majority of guests staying here are families traveling together on vacation, as well as couples and business travelers. This hotel is especially popular with Indian tourists, because of its location in Little India and its proximity to many Indian restaurants and eateries. 

PARKROYAL on Kitchener Road is on a busy street in the middle of Little India, with many stores, shopping malls, and restaurants within walking distance. Mustafa Center, a 24-hour shopping mall, is located next door. Farrer Park MRT station is a four-minute walk from the hotel, from where the efficient subway service reaches most areas of the city.

Guest rooms at the hotel are spacious and clean, but have a chainlike feel to them due to bland decor. The neutral color palette is made up of whites, beiges, and browns, while a few works of abstract art in similar color tones add an interesting focal point. The furniture is minimal and functional, including a large work desk and ergonomic chair. Beige bathrooms are spacious and have a similar functional style, outfitted with shower/tub combos. All rooms have the usual set of amenities, including flat-screen TVs, tea- and coffee-making facilities, safes, irons and ironing boards, toiletries, minibars, air-conditioning, and free Wi-Fi. The Orchid Club Rooms and Suites offer more space and are located on the 19th-floor and have scenic city views. Guests staying in these rooms can take advantage of the free breakfast and evening cocktails available in the exclusive Club Lounge.
