Bottom Line

This upscale boutique opened in 2010 is one of the newest hotels on the Marina Bay waterfront. It's intimate by Singapore hotel standards (100 rooms), and with its top-notch service and wonderful amenities, the property feels exclusive and private. Spacious rooms have masculine decor, with dark colors and wood accents, and come equipped with high-end amenities, including Egyptian cotton linens, Molton Brown toiletries, Nespresso coffeemakers, and iPod docks. Double-glazed floor-to-ceiling windows offer stunning bay and skyline views. The vistas can also be enjoyed from the balconies and the deep soaking tubs (note that the glass walls between the tubs and the rooms do have privacy shades). The stylish rooftop bar, the huge pool, and the great dining options round out the experience.

The Fullerton Bay Hotel Singapore

Location

Right on the Marina Bay waterfront, a short walk from the Raffles Place MTR station

The hotel is located on the Marina Bay waterfront, across the bridge from the Historic District. There are few major attractions within easy walking distance, but the Raffles Place MTR station (served by the green and the red lines) is a six-minute walk from the property, and taxis are readily available and cheap.

The Marina Bay waterfront is a relatively new area in Singapore, and as such is still being developed. There are a number of restaurants and several high-rises most of which house corporate offices. But you’ll have to cross the bridge over the Singapore River or walk 15 minutes to get to more bustling areas. Chinatown is less than a 15-minute walk away.

  • 20-minute drive to Changi International Airport
  • 6-minute walk to 2 subway lines at Raffles Place MTR station
  • 12-minute walk to Chinatown
  • 9-minute walk to Esplanade Park
  • 12-minute walk to the Marina Bay area and the Esplanade Theater and Library
  • 13-minute walk to the Parliament House
  • 14-minute walk to St. Andrew’s Cathedral
  • 15-minute subway ride to the heart of the action along Orchard Road
  • 15-minute walk or 9-minute bus ride to the Singapore International Convention & Exhibition Center
  • 16-minute walk to the City Hall and the Padang, or 7 minutes via public transportation
  • 18-minute walk to famous Raffles Hotel
  • 23-minute walk or 4-minute drive to stunning Marina Bay Sands Hotel
  • 25-minute walk to the National Museum of Singapore, or 12 minutes via public transportation
