The spacious lobby has high, industrial-style ceilings; large, modernist chandeliers; and an abundance of glass windows, both from interior-facing guest rooms and for sunlight to pour in through. Leather sofas, velvet couches, and wood tables provide space for guests to lounge, get work done, and await friends. Everywhere you look, recessed lighting casts a chic glow and there’s so much space that the lobby has been known to double up as a car show room for special events. Catering mainly to couples and business travelers, the hotel is a lively place; a DJ plays in the lobby most nights, giving the place a trendy vibe. A chic bar with colorful sofas adjoins the lobby; the mood lighting has a purple glow, the large windows are draped with flowing white curtains, and window seats make for good people-watching perches.

The large, modern rooms at the Sheraton Stockholm are notable for their spare, contemporary style, and the mostly excellent views of the city and the sea. Rooms on higher floors have the best vantage points and suffer less from the noise of the street below. Brand hallmarks such as the Sweet Sleeper Bed with hypoallergenic pillows are standard, and the linens are crisp, white, and luxurious. Standard rooms are the most affordable and are smartly decorated, with teal accents, wooden floors, and a round, nautical-inspired mirror. Bathrooms are marble, most with shower/tub combinations and Molton Brown toiletries. All rooms have iPod docks with speakers and large flat-screen TVs. Higher-tier suites get even more, with larger bathrooms, Nespresso machines, and, in the Presidential Suite, a four-poster bed.

As a business-catering hotel, it's not surprising that the Sheraton Stockholm has a large gym with a good range of equipment, as well as a sauna and a massage room. In-room spa treatments can also be arranged. The Club Lounge, open only to Sheraton Club guests, is especially popular; an extensive free breakfast is served there daily, with a large selection of drinks that includes a Nespresso machine and a soda fountain. The restaurant and bar are popular with locals and guests alike; the restaurant serves modern Scandinavian cuisine. The hotel offers a regular, guest happy hour with free wine, beer, and nibbles.
