Emerald Greens Condo Resort

Situated just off busy Dale Mabry Highway between North and South Village Drive, Emerald Greens Condo-Hotel sits on the lushly landscaped and well-manicured grounds of Carrollwood Country Club. The building is painted in shades of red-orange, yellow, white, and brown. The lobby has a large wooden reception desk, and outside there's a junior-Olympic size pool and a children's splash area. Surrounding the hotel are three golf courses, eight lighted tennis courts, the Carrollwood Country Club clubhouse, and the residences of Carrollwood Village. Most of the guests are families with young children, though the overall vibe is quiet and relaxed with plenty of space for couples to enjoy themselves away from little ones. 

Emerald Greens Condo-Hotel is about 30 minutes from most Tampa Bay attractions. Busch Gardens theme park, Adventure Island water park, Seminole Hard Hotel & Casino, International Plaza, Westshore Mall, Raymond James Stadium, Channelside, and Tampa International Airport are all within 30 minutes' driving distance. The beaches of Clearwater and St. Petersburg are about a 45-minute drive from the hotel. There are two on-site restaurants and several other restaurants within a 15-minute drive of the property, including Circles, Anthony's Coal Fired Pizza, the Melting Pot fondue restaurant, and Chili's. Self-parking at the Emerald Greens is free. 

Each carpeted unit includes a full kitchen complete with stove, full-size refrigerator with ice-maker, dishwasher, cookware, dishware, and utensils. The kitchens come with dark granite countertops, dark wood cabinets, and modern appliances. All rooms have either private balconies or patios, depending on their floor. Select suites also have full-size washers and dryers. There is also free Wi-Fi in the rooms, along with flat-screen TVs in the living rooms and bedrooms.

The living rooms have plush, large sofas, beige walls with one dark-colored accent wall, large ottomans, and end tables, and look warm and inviting. The bedrooms are brighter, with all-beige walls, white linens, and ceiling fans. The dark granite in the bathrooms, which include double vanities and tub/shower combos with body spray shower jets, echoes that of the kitchens. Extended stays are available and guests can pay extra to have their refrigerators stocked. 

The three championship golf courses for both rookies and pros are the stand-out feature here. Freebies include Wi-Fi, self-parking, and local newspapers in the lobby. The property has two on-site restaurants -- Oasis Poolside Cafe and the 1972 Bar & Grille. Family-friendly features include the large pool and a children's splash area, along with movie nights and kids' nights. Fitness buffs can use the on-site health center, which offers state-of-the-art-workout equipment, classes, and a sauna. There's also meeting spaces, a conference center, and a large ballroom in the Country Club's clubhouse for weddings and other large events. Wi-Fi is free throughout the property.
