The Park Club Europe Hotel is a pleasant, family-friendly property drawing largely Spanish guests. Interiors are largely traditional and dated, with busy patterned floors and old-fashioned upholstery in loud prints, but terra cotta pots, hanging lanterns, and wicker furniture add some charm. Lower-category Double and Family Rooms have a similarly dated look, while upgraded units are more contemporary and subdued. On the plus side, features for families are extensive, from daily activities at the kids' club and nightly entertainment to sports facilities and a small petting zoo. All-inclusive rates add value, though most guests agree that food isn't superb. Overall, the kid-friendly amenities and stellar location near beaches and restaurants make it a great family pick.

Park Club Europe Hotel has a central and convenient location, especially for those who prefer to explore on foot. The surrounding area provides guests with plenty shops, restaurants, and bars. Sun-worshippers are around a 10-minute walk from two beaches -- Playa Camison and Playa de las America. Los Cristianos is about a 30-minute walk away, while the Siam Park water park can be reached in 10 minutes by car. Tenerife South Airport is a 17-minute drive from the hotel.

Rooms vary in terms of both style and amenities. The lower-category Double and Family Rooms have a dated look with blue-painted wicker furniture, tired and patterned bedding and curtains, and generic artwork. These units also only have ceiling fans, no air-conditioning. The 2016-refurbished Superior Rooms and Suites, meanwhile, have a bland, albeit contemporary look with a most neutral-tone design, wood floors, and pops of navy blue in bed runners and throw pillows, plus air-conditioning. Most units have modern bathrooms with mosaic-tiled rainfall showers, and some have older shower/tub combos. All have hairdryers and toiletries. Standard amenities include flat-screen TVs, ceiling fans, mini-fridges, desks, sofa beds or couches, and furnished balconies. In-room Wi-Fi requires a fee. Light-sleepers should request a room away from the road.

The Park Club Europe Hotel offers a ton of amenities for families. Certainly a highlight is the two connected swimming pools that are large and have slides, a shallow section for kids, and a zero-entry section. The pool deck is lined with ample sunbeds and some umbrellas. Kids are also kept busy with a kids' club, daily activities, sports facilities such as tennis and multi-sports courts, and a mini-zoo with small animals. Entertainment is provided each night, but the performances -- generally singing and dancing -- are reportedly mediocre. A gym is available on-site, as are a steam room and sauna. Free Wi-Fi is limited to the lobby.

As an all-inclusive hotel, all meals are part of the rate. The buffet restaurant serves international fare, but food receives mixed reviews. House wine, beer, water, juice, and soft drinks are also included. A snack bar is open in the day, and a barbecue eatery is open in peak season.
