Hotel Coral Suites & Spa

Bright and modern, the five-story Sunprime Coral Suites and Spa's all-white exterior is crisp and eye-catching, as is the bright-yellow heart next to the hotel's signage on the roof. All of the interior spaces offer a similar aesthetic -- crisp, clean lines and modern decor with pleasant pops of vibrant color. Decor-wise, the hotel has a stylish and contemporary look consisting of hardwood floors, chic white-wood furniture, and bright seating and artwork. Expect to see an orange couch and pink curtains in the lobby, black-and-white patterned columns in the lounge bar, colorful mosaic-like tiling behind the buffet, and booths with throw pillows in the restaurant. Though it may sound like a lot going on, it's tastefully done and gives the hotel a bright and cheerful vibe. Despite this fun vibe, the adult-only policy (16 and over) means the property's vibe is relaxed.

Sunprime Coral Suites and Spa offers guests a central location that's suitable for exploring the surrounding area on foot. There's a ton within easy walking distance, including the area's popular beach, Playa de las Americas (eight-minute walk). Playa de las Vistas is a 14-minute walk, while Playas de Troya is a bit farther away at a 34-minute walk. Guests are close to plenty of dining options and are near the area's lively nightlife scene, too. Some top spots include Crystals Palace (six-minute walk), The Anchor Bar (seven-minute walk), and Surfers Bar (11-minute walk). 

Guest rooms at Sunprime Coral Suites and Spa maintain the cheery, attractive decor seen throughout. The contemporary rooms are outfitted with hardwood floors, white-wood furniture, and tons of color -- think pink throw blankets, orange accent walls, and lime-green curtains. Black-and-white photos, grayish lounge chairs, and dark wicker desk chairs help tone down the appealing space. All rooms come with a furnished balcony or terrace, some with distant sea views.

Also standard are free Wi-Fi, air-conditioning, a flat screen TV, and kitchenettes equipped with a mini-fridge, microwave, stovetop, coffee- and tea-making facilities, and various cooking/dining utensils. Safes are available for a fee. Neutral-tone bathrooms are immaculate, with a marble sink, shower, hairdryer, bathrobe, and free bath products limited to soap. Note that some previous guests have said noise can be an issue for lower-level and road-facing rooms. 

From multiple spots to soak up the sun to places to grab a beverage, there are lots of quality on-site features. Sun worshipers will appreciate the fact that Sunprime Coral Suites and Spa offers four different areas to catch some rays. The highlight here is the large outdoor pool surrounded by ample loungers and umbrellas. Additionally, there are a designated Chill Out terrace with wicker furniture, rooftop solarium, and man-made "beach", though it's really just a sandy area with sunbeds and Bali beds facing a concrete wall. 

Inside, there are a well-equipped fitness center and expansive spa with numerous massage rooms, a hydrotherapy pool, and sauna. For guests wanting to use their kitchenettes, there's a small market on-site where drinks (including alcoholic beverages) and snacks are available. Otherwise, the buffet eatery receives positive reviews, offering theme nights and all-inclusive packages.
