One of the larger properties in Ao Nang, the Aonang Cliff Beach Resort is located right off the main road and offers some of the best views in town. Built into a hillside up above the street, it feels private, yet fine dining and shopping are a short walk away and the beach is only five minutes down the street. The rooms here are spacious and all have open-air terraces or patios along with rainfall showers, and some even have panoramic ocean views. The resort has a sun-drenched natural saltwater pool with plenty of lounge chairs, a seafood grill restaurant, and a large shopping plaza downstairs.

Both the seafood grill restaurant and the saltwater swimming pool are popular hangout spots at the Aonang Cliff Beach Resort, thanks partially to their beautiful views of the surroundings. As the resort is built into the hillside, it feels removed from the town and more exclusive than other nearby resorts. The overall ambience is casual, and there's no dress code. Most visitors are tourists, and the resort attracts families and couples alike.

The Aonang Cliff Beach Resort is positioned right in the center of Ao Nang. While the resort is right on the main road, it is built up into the hillside, so it feels like a private retreat rather than a midtown stay.There is a large plaza at the entrance to the resort which houses a McDonalds as well as other eating and shopping spots, and there are plenty of fine restaurants, bars, and stores just outside the hotel. While the resort is not on the beach, it is only a five-minute walk down to the best sand on the long Ao Nang Beach. From the beach, guests can take a boat to beautiful Railay Beach and islands in the bay.

The Ocean View Room terraces come with private spa tubs on the terraces. For groups and families, there are also Family Retreat Rooms, which have kitchenettes and dining areas.
