Pine Bungalow

The Pine Bungalow is set in well-kept tropical gardens, just a stone's throw from pristine white sands and the crystal clear waters of Phang Nga Bay. The overall decor and amenities are basic, but mosts guests stay here for the beautiful beach and away-from-it-all atmosphere. The small semi-open lobby is housed in a tall building with exposed wooden beams and red brickwork. The space is shared with the hotel's restaurant, offering stunning ocean views and outdoor seating shadowed by towering tropical palm trees. The majority of guests here are backpackers on a budget and a few senior citizens, with many long-stay travelers enjoying everyday beach life. The vibe is casual and quiet, so those looking to party might be disappointed, though there are some lively bars a short walk along the beach.

The Pine Bungalow is situated away from the comparatively loud streets of central Ao Nang, making it ideal for anyone seeking peace and tranquility. Guests have private access to a secluded stretch of sandy Klong Moung Beach, with a coral reef that's perfect for exploring. Though most guests tend to stay within the vicinity of the bungalows, there are some street-food stalls and other small cafes around a 15-minute walk from the property. Even so, most guests rent scooters from the property to get around the area. Hat Noppharat Thara - Mu Koh Phi Phi National Park is a 10-minute drive from the hotel, while Ao Nang Beach is a five-minute drive away. It's a convenient location for excursions to Phuket, Koh Phi Phi, and Koh Lanta, and Krabi Airport is around a 40-minute drive away.

The property has a total of 34 beachside bungalows. They're clean and cozy, but nothing fancy, and all have spacious furnished balconies with deck chairs and tables. Some offer lovely views of the sea, especially at sunset. Guests are provided with basic amenities like free bottled water and free Wi-Fi, but there are no electric kettles, TVs, or minibars. Some rooms have air-conditioning, while others only have standing fans. Small closets are provided, as well as separate seating areas with plastic tables and chairs. Wet room-style bathrooms are basic but clean, equipped with showers and basic free toiletries. Family-sized bungalows are available, offering extra living space and two double beds. Guests report a good night's sleep, thanks to the property's quiet location. 

Pine Bungalow's main selling point is its privately accessed beach, lined with tables, chairs, and cabanas for relaxing. The coral reef is perfect for snorkeling, and guests are able to rent canoes from the front desk. There's also a tour desk for booking excursions to neighboring islands, plus motorbike rentals and taxi services. An outdoor sports area is located next to the shore, with a basketball court and ping-pong, and there's an all-day restaurant serving Thai and Western cuisines. The wood-paneled restaurant has a casual atmosphere and bar, and serves a simple breakfast for a fee, consisting of fresh fruit, eggs, and coffee. Room service is available, but hours are limited. Hotel services include laundry, dry cleaning, airport transfers for a fee, free self-parking (though spaces are limited), and free Wi-Fi.
