Alagon Saigon Hotel & Spa

Stepping into the lobby of the Alagon Saigon Hotel & Spa from the busy street outside, guests are met with a pleasant space clad in white. White tile floors and marble effect white walls are paired with white leather couches for a clean and calming effect. Though some of the details verge on gaudy, like the crystal chandeliers, it's an inviting space. Past the lobby, the hotel's restaurant features white furniture with gold embellishments and navy velvet upholstery on chairs. Further in, these are traded for wooden tables and chairs with lime green accents. Overall, it's a pleasant property that offers a solid set of mid-range features, attracting both tourists and business travelers drawn by the convenient central location. The property is part of a local hotel group, and guests should note that some of the facilities are shared.

The hotel is centrally located in Ho Chi Minh City's District 1. It's just a seven-minute walk to the bustling Ben Thanh Market, which is full of food stalls as well as sellers touting souvenirs, art, clothes, textiles, and hand-crafted goods. There are lots of dining options and bars in the area, as well as shops and shopping malls. Most of the city's top sites are within walking distance, including the Cu Chi Tunnels (five-minute walk), the Independence Palace (13-minute walk), the Notre-Dame Cathedral (17-minute walk), War Remnants Museum (16-minute walk), and the Saigon Central Post Office (17-minute walk). Tufted blue headboards match the chair upholstery. Guests should note that some of the rooms are small and lack windows.
