Beau Rivage Resort & Casino Biloxi

Biloxi, Mississippi, United States

The 1,740-room Beau Rivage Resort & Casino is an upper-middle-range hotel along the coast in Biloxi. An MGM Resorts International property, the Beau Rivage has all that you'd expect from a casino hotel -- multiple restaurants, meeting and event spaces, and an arcade to keep the kids busy. Other amenities include a spa and salon, outdoor swimming pool, and 18-hole golf course for guests only. The guest rooms and suites have classic furnishings in gold tones, as well as flat-screen TVs, bathtubs, and separate walk-in showers. Free Wi-Fi and valet parking add to its value. If the furnishings are a little too dated for your taste, check out the more modern Hard Rock Hotel & Casino next door.

Hampton Inn Biloxi

Biloxi, Mississippi, United States

The lower-middle-range Hampton Inn Biloxi is a solid option for tourists and business travelers who prefer not to stay in the area’s bustling casino hotels. The Hampton Inn is located just across Beach Boulevard from the Gulf of Mexico and a four-minute drive from the Hard Rock casino. The hotel offers all the amenities that make it a popular chain, including free hot breakfast, a laundry room, and free Wi-Fi and parking. It also has a fitness center and outdoor pool, but both are on the small side. Rooms are clean and spacious, and come with microwaves, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers. Many rooms feature sweeping views of the Gulf, and some have whirlpool tubs and sleeper sofas. The nearby historic White House Hotel often has similar rates, as well as a larger pool and popular restaurant/bar for only slightly higher rates.

3

Harrah’s Gulf Coast

Biloxi, Mississippi, United States

The upper-middle-range Harrah's Gulf Coast is a huge casino and golf resort located in Biloxi, Mississippi, a three-minute walk from the nearest beach. The 500 rooms are attractive, with modern purple furnishings, coffeemakers, and 49-inch flat-screen TVs. Many have views out on the gulf, but smoking is allowed in some and the smell can linger in the hallways. Amenities include a casino with slots and table games, a huge outdoor pool, a lovely spa with a fitness center, and a wide range of restaurants. Valet and self-parking are included in room rates. However, there's not much going on for kids, and families with young ones might want to consider somewhere a little more age-appropriate, such as the enormous Beau Rivage Resort & Casino Biloxi, which even has a video game arcade.

4

Best Western Oak Manor

Biloxi, Mississippi, United States

The 116-room BEST WESTERN Oak Manor is a solid value hotel for travelers visiting Biloxi. It's conveniently located near the beach and both the Hard Rock Hotel and Beau Rivage casinos. Rooms have generic, bland decor, but they're spacious and feature flat-screen TVs. In addition to the perk of free Wi-Fi and parking, there's a small outdoor pool and generous free continental breakfast. Note that it can be loud when busy and some guests report cigarette burns in the carpet and the smell of smoke.

5

South Beach Biloxi Hotel & Suites

Biloxi, Mississippi, United States

The upper-middle-range South Beach Biloxi Hotel & Suites proudly advertises that it's the only hotel in Biloxi situated directly on the sandy beach. This and its Miami South Beach inspired decor set it apart from other nearby properties. Originally built as private condominiums, all 99 guest rooms are suite-style with full kitchens or kitchenettes. Modern guest rooms are furnished in earth tones and each includes a pull-out sofa, flat-screen TV, and iPod dock. There are a small outdoor swimming pool, a two-treadmill fitness center, and cafe and bar serving fare like pizza and nachos. It's a better pick for longer stays than nearby properties, but past guests have complained that not all kitchens have the necessary supplies.

6

Quality Inn Biloxi Beach by the Coliseum

Biloxi, Mississippi, United States

The 148-room Quality Inn Biloxi is a budget hotel offering decent rooms and features for the price. A huge perk of the property is its position across the street from a public beach, though it can't be seen from guest rooms. Rooms do have flat-screen TVs, mini-fridges, microwaves, and coffeemakers, but some furnishings have stains and the carpet needs to be thoroughly cleaned. The outdoor swimming pool, free continental breakfast, and Wi-Fi add to its value. Overall it's a solid economy pick, especially if you're planning on spending time at the beach or the nearby Mississippi Coast Coliseum and Convention Center. For closer access to the casinos, check out the similar BEST WESTERN Oak Manor.
