Ryans Ibiza Apartments

The Ryans Ibiza Apartments is a modern, adult-only (18 and older) party hotel arranged around a cool indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar that opens out onto a terrace with a pool. Daily and nightly events, like a live DJ in the pool/bar area, help feed the party atmosphere. The five-story building was renovated in late 2013 and offers simple, modern decor. The reception area is tiny, but the real hangout spot is the bar, which has a patchwork tiled floor, a brick accent wall, modern cutout stools, and a few ornate vintage armchairs in electric orange. The hotel is clean and well-kept, but the atmosphere isn't for everyone. Travelers tend to be groups of younger people in town to party, including guests coming for bachelor and bachelorette parties. 

The Ryans Ibiza Apartments are situated on a quiet one-way street overlooking the sea, on the southern edge of Ibiza Town.  There are a handful of casual restaurants and bars in the immediate vicinity, but most of the partying happens on-site. Ibiza's most famous clubs -- including Ushuaïa, Bora Bora, and Space -- are situated near Playa d’en Bossa, about a 10-minute drive away, or a 20- to 30-minute walk. Small but sandy Figueretas Beach is just about a three-minute walk down the street. Ibiza's Old Town is around a 10-minute drive, or a 25-minute walk. Ibiza Airport can be reached in about 10 minutes by car. 

With one-, two-, and three-bedroom apartments and pullout sofa beds, these accommodations were designed to be shared among groups of friends. Apartments are clean and roomy with simple, modern decor. White tiled floors and white walls are paired with white and light-wood laminate furniture. Apartments are finished with accent colors -- bright purple, pink, yellow, or red -- that appear on accent walls, sofas, and bedding. All apartments include sitting areas with flat-screen TVs and pullout sofa beds (which can sleep two). They also have dining areas with cutout white molded chairs and kitchenettes. Bedrooms are extremely simple with either twin beds or bunkbeds and open wardrobes. All apartments also include balconies or terraces, which are fairly roomy and furnished with seating. Balconies face the pool area and may overlook the sea. Bathrooms are simple with white tiled floors and walls. They feature a sink, toilet, and standing shower, but can be small, especially since apartments are often shared among groups. Hairdryers are provided, as well as wall-mounted soap dispensers.Apartments are air-conditioned and have safes and free Wi-Fi, though guests sometimes complain that it's slow. Kitchenettes are equipped with ceramic burners, microwaves, electric kettles, mini-fridges, cookware, and dishware (though there's no dish soap). Daily housekeeping costs an extra fee. This is a party spot, and DJs often play music until late, so noise can be an issue for some.

The hotel is organized around Ryan's Pub, a playful indoor/outdoor restaurant and bar that opens up directly onto an outdoor terrace with a pool surrounded by umbrella-shaded loungers. Breakfast and other meals are available, but cost extra fees. Live DJs often play here, creating a party atmosphere during the day and at night. The hotel also has a game area with a pool and foosball table, plus pool toys like balls and floats. There's also a cool roof terrace with lounge beds and a hot tub. The hotel has free Wi-Fi and 24-hour reception. The property has an adult-only, 18 and up policy; pets and children are not allowed.
