The three-and-a-half-pearl Cumberland hotel is one of the four properties which make up the prestigious Guoman Hotel Group. It’s impressively located just off Park Lane and Oxford Street, and it couldn’t be closer to Marble Arch tube station, given that it sits right on top of it. Aside from the obvious shopping and socializing opportunities, the hotel has some pleasing home comforts in the over 1,000 modern rooms, like Hypnos mattresses, flat-screen TVs, and power showers. Surrounded by the affluent Mayfair, Marylebone, and Paddington Districts, sightseeing, dining out, and theater trips are all easy to arrange. However, the hotel’s Market restaurant feels budget for this kind of property and the Wi-Fi isn’t great either. For a better class of hotel restaurant consider Royal Lancaster London instead.
