Scene
Budget-friendly hostel with cozy public spaces, a young clientele, and sociable atmosphere
USA Hostels Hollywood appeals to a younger, budget-minded group of guests. It centers around both indoor and outdoor public spaces, such as a cozy lounge with comfy couches, flat-screen TVs, and a library shelf. The breakfast room is a bit small, but has an upbeat orange color scheme. The weather is pleasant year-round in Los Angeles, so the outdoor patio is a welcome sight. It has brown woven couches and chairs with red padding, umbrellas, and potted plants. With plenty of free activities on-site and off and a young crowd, the hostel offers a lively atmosphere with a lot of opportunity to socialize.
Location
Within walking distance to Hollywood Walk of Fame, and driving distance to Chinatown and Griffith Park
Los Angeles is so spread out that it can be difficult to find a property that’s well-located. USA Hostels Hollywood provides a happy medium. It’s just off Hollywood Boulevard, making it an 11-minute walk to the Chinese Theater and Hollywood Walk of Fame. There are plenty of restaurants and bars in the area. It’s a 10-minute drive to the Hollywood Bowl, and a 30-minute drive to downtown LA which is home to LA Live and near Chinatown. Griffith Park offers great hiking trails and views of the Hollywood sign, and takes 20 minutes to reach by car. It’s a 25-minute drive to Rodeo Drive from the hotel. The hotel has a free shuttle to Venice and Santa Monica Beach three times a week, but for those who prefer to go on their own, it’s about a 40-minute drive. Los Angeles International Airport is an hour’s drive away.
Rooms
