Silverado Resort and Spa

A long road and wrap-around driveway lead to the Silverado Resort and Spa's main building. The colonial white mansion serves as the lobby for registration and any guest relations. This historic landmark was reinvented through extensive renovations in 2014, but still pays tribute to the resort’s 19th-century colonial past. The sophisticated building is situated in rolling hills filled with golf courses, pools, tree-lined roads, and peaceful scenes. There are even oak trees on-site believed to be 300-years-old. The resort is made up of many buildings spread out over many acres. A nightly resort fee covers one glass of house wine at arrival for each registered guest, coffee and tea in rooms, free newspapers in the lobby, and access to the gym. It also gives guests free Wi-Fi, use of the tennis courts, unlimited local and 800 calls, and free parking. Overall the atmosphere is peaceful and secluded.

Tucked in rolling hills, the resort is located within minutes of over 400 wineries in wine country. Downtown Napa is within easy driving distance of the resort. The Napa Opera House is less than five miles away. The resort is within two hours from the three major nearby airports in San Francisco, Sacramento, and Oakland.

The 380 rooms have classic furnishings and modern amenities. The decor is simple and sophisticated and primarily uses neutral colors and patterns. Categories include Standard rooms, Junior suites, or One and Two-Bedroom suites with kitchens, dining rooms, living rooms, and bedrooms. All suites have wood-burning fireplaces and a private patio or balcony to look out on the lush surroundings. There are plush beds with 340 thread-count Egyptian cotton white bedding. Some rooms have kitchenettes with microwaves, mini-fridges, stovetops, and electronic individual coffee machines.  

Two on-site award-winning PGA golf courses are home to championships throughout the year. A 10,000-square-foot clubhouse has locker rooms, cart rentals, a pro shop, and other amenities. Additionally, there are bocce courts, 10 outdoor swimming pools with lounge chairs and cabanas, and 13 tennis courts. The gym has modern equipment, weights, and flat-screen TVs. Fitness classes and lessons at the various activities are offered. The Spa at Silverado is the largest in Napa featuring Roman-inspired indulgences, including a juice bar and a hair salon. Services include deep-tissue massages, facials, body wraps, and manicures and pedicures. The Grill at Silverado has a California-influenced menu with local and fresh food. It’s located in a bright room with wood furniture and yellow and brown tones. The Main Lounge’s Patio Terrace offers a beautiful outdoor setting overlooking the 18th hole of the South Course for drinks and appetizers. There is also plenty of meeting space in the Silverado Mansion Conference Center.
