The Postmarc Hotel and Spa Suites outshines other budget properties with its fashionable lodge-style designs. The two-floor hotel, formerly the Fantasy Inn, is surrounded by a log fence and forest landscaping with a bridge that leads to the entrance. There's a lovely wedding garden with a gazebo on the grounds. Inside, a chandelier hangs from exposed ceiling beams above the hotel’s rustic wooden front desk, while dark wooden floors are covered by a damask-patterned area rug. Simple, carpeted hallways feature wood molding and red doors. Pops of forest wallpaper in the common areas add to the lodge atmosphere. In general, this hotel is a good bargain for a wedding destination, providing a simple and stylish setting for ceremonies.

The hotel is directly on Lake Tahoe Boulevard, a busy four-lane street lined with pine trees. Across the street is a McDonald’s, and other casual restaurants are nearby. It’s an easy walk to Lake Tahoe, which offers jet skiing and parasailing. The Heavenly gondola is also within walking distance. The Hard Rock Casino, Harrah's Casino, Harvey's Casino, and MontBleu Casino are a five-minute drive away, or can be reached via a Blue Go shuttle that stops right outside the hotel. The Reno-Tahoe International Airport is an hour and 15 minutes by car. A shuttle to the Heavenly Valley Ski Resort and Sierra at Tahoe stops nearby. 

This hotel has 50 rooms and suites that feature modern and lodge-inspired decor with romantic touches: whirlpool tubs, mood lighting, and mirrored walls by beds. Old-fashioned furnishings like rotary telephones are a quirky touch. Large windows have views of the wedding garden, parking lot, or mountains. All rooms offer flat-screen TVs, irons/ironing boards, hairdryers, whirlpool tubs, mini-fridges, and coffeemakers, while the Deluxe Double Queen Rooms also have microwaves. Bathrooms are separated by curtains and outfitted with two-person European showers as well as whirlpool tubs or soaking tubs set against mirrored walls (and some rooms have heart-shaped tubs). ADA accessible rooms are available. Fantasy Suites have a distinctive retro vibe with fireplaces in some and themed interiors that include Western, jungle, cabin, and hunting lodge decor. The Grand Honeymoon Suite is geared toward newlyweds.

Weddings are the main focus of the Postmarc Hotel and Spa Suites. For outdoor ceremonies, a charming garden with a gazebo sits at the center of the property. The chapel is a stylishly designed space, featuring dark wooden floors and small chandeliers dangling over a fireplace. Off-site venues by the lake or on the beach can also be secured. Photography, cakes, makeup, and floral packages are also available. But aside from this, there aren’t many facilities at this property. An ice and soda vending machine as well as a microwave are in the hallway for guests' use. There's also a fire pit and outdoor furniture on a small patio. Free, uncovered parking is offered at the front of the hotel, and Wi-Fi is free throughout.
