Rooms

Small but clean rooms with Japanese-style bathrooms

The 206 rooms at ibis Tokyo Shinjuku are clean and decorated simply, but be aware that not all have windows. Dark-patterned carpeting covers the floors, while white walls are offset by orange accent walls, which brighten the space along with monochrome photographs. Large mirrors above the desks work to make the rooms seem larger. Standard
Single Rooms measure 129 square feet, while the Superior Double
Rooms, at 215 square feet, are roomier and include loveseats and
tables. All rooms are air-conditioned and include flat-screen TVs,
mini-fridges, electric kettles, hairdryers, and free Wi-Fi. Bathrooms are Japanese-style, fitted with electronic
toilets, plastic sink tops, and small shower/tub combos with handheld showerheads.
Slippers, hairdryers, and toiletries are also provided.Be aware that guests have complained about nonsmoking rooms smelling of stale smoke, the lack of temperature control, and dated decor in
some of the rooms.
