Pelangi Bali Hotel

This locally owned hotel has a quiet, tranquil atmosphere and features traditional Balinese architecture and design. Carved Balinese statues surrounded by potted plants and flowers stand at the entrance. The large stylish lobby has high ceilings, light tile, and a large stone fountain feature with statues along with wooden chairs. Other common areas include the beachfront Rama Restaurant & Bar, an open-air space with fantastic ocean and pool views. Blue tablecloths and brown tile floors add some color, while the outdoor seating area has wood tables and chairs. Inside, the XO Lounge Lobby Bar has wood floors and light wicker furniture along with a flat-screen TV, carved wall art, and a bar area with black countertops. A subdued color palette covers the full-service Siloam Spa, which has stone walls, white tile, carved wood furniture, and white crown molding throughout. The beautiful, well-landscaped grounds feature lots of flowers, stone fountains, and shrubbery. 

The beachfront Pelangi Bali Hotel is located on a quiet road right on the beach, with restaurants and shops a five-minute walk away. Seminyak Square is a five-minute drive from the hotel while Double Six Beach, Legian Beach, and Kuta Beach are a 10-minute drive. Waterbom Park, Petitenget, and Discovery Shopping Mall are also a 10-minute drive away, while Sanur Beach and Ngurah Rai International Airport take around 20 minutes to reach by car.

Homey, authentically Balinese rooms offer light marble floors, brown bed runners and pillows, tan sofas, and dark wood furniture. Large windows let in plenty of natural light and all rooms have balconies or patios with seating. Amenities include air-conditioning, minibars, flat-screen TVs, and coffeemakers. Contemporary, bright bathrooms have tan tile from floor to ceiling and black countertops. Some have glass walk-in showers, and some Suite bathrooms have large jetted tubs. Suites also offer ocean views, desktop computers, and kitchenettes with mini-fridges, microwaves, and sinks. Note that units lack safes and some rooms have tube TVs. Past guests have complained of exterior noise.

Pelangi Bali Hotel has direct beach access and the busy seaside area is covered in pink umbrellas and wooden lounge chairs. There's also a gorgeous lagoon-style outdoor pool covered in blue tile, with statue fountains flowing into it and a fenced-off shallow area for kids. The sunken swim-up pool bar has a hut-style roof and serves snacks, cocktails, and beers. 

Traditional Balinese and modern Western dishes are served for breakfast, lunch, and dinner at Rama Restaurant & Bar, and there are live music performances on some evenings. Sunset Terrace Restaurant & Bar is only open for dinner and serves international fare, while the XO Lounge Lobby Bar has cocktails, wine, and beer. Room service is also available.

The on-site Siloam Spa has a sauna and offers massages, body scrubs, mani/pedis, and hair treatments, and there's a fitness center with free weights plus cardio and weight machines. There's also a business center in the lobby and Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel.
