Bonanova Park

Bonanova Park is housed in a brick building on a mostly residential street. Inside, the hotel's basic decor has a homey vibe and consists of wooden floors, large classic printed rugs, and upholstered cream-and-beige furniture in a lounge area off to the side. Maps, newspapers, and tourist brochures are available on a table across from the front desk. The breakfast room isn’t too large but has a bright atmosphere, gray tiled floors, blond wooden chairs, and white tables. Overall, this budget hotel has a cozy vibe that attracts couples and families alike. 

This hotel is located in a residential area in the Sarria-Sant Gervasi neighborhood, which is a bit isolated from the city center. That’s not to say that there aren't any points of interest within walking distance. Camp Nou, where FC Barcelona plays, is about a 20-minute walk away, while the Polytechnic University of Catalonia takes 16 minutes to reach on foot. Still, it’s a bit far from the major tourist attractions. There's a bus stop that's a two-minute walk from the property, while the closest subway station is a seven-minute walk away. There are a number of restaurants and shops in the immediate area. Barcelona's El Prat Airport is a 15-minute drive or around 50 minutes via public transportation.

There are 60 rooms at this hotel, and although they range from Single to Triple Rooms, all have a similar style. Rooms are small and bland, with '80s-style patterned bedspreads and chair cushions, tiled floors, streamlined wooden furniture, and chain-like landscape artwork. Overall, the spaces are dated and have a budget vibe. Amenities include flat-screen TVs, air-conditioning, minibars, and free Wi-Fi, but they lack coffee- and tea-making facilities. Bathrooms are modern and more recently updated. They may be small, but include showers, hairdryers, and toiletries. 

As a budget hotel, Bonanova Park doesn’t offer much in terms of facilities. The hotel offers a simple morning spread of coffee and tea, juice, pastries, fruit, meat, and cheese served in a small breakfast lounge, but some guests complain that it's overpriced and poor quality. There's no full restaurant on-site. Other amenities include free Wi-Fi and a public computer for guest use. Parking is available for a fee.
