The hotel was built in 1720 as a convent for Sant Agustí and remained as such for 120 years before it was converted into a hotel. Following multiple renovations over the years, it has a soothing, natural aesthetic that combines warm woods and minimalist furnishings with gorgeous original stone walls and archways. In the lobby, beige couches and wood coffee tables are set against tall windows looking out onto the street. Understated sconces and chandeliers lend a golden glow to the beautiful cream-colored stone, wood floors, and a small statue of the hotel's namesake.
