The Best Western Center Pointe Inn sits in the prime entertainment area of Branson, with shops, restaurants, and attractions all within walking distance. There are an indoor pool and outdoor pool, both with hot tubs (though they have no views), in addition to a gym, business center, and game room. Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel, though the signal may be an issue for some. Although there is no on-site restaurant or bar, the hotel shares a parking lot with Montana Mike’s Steakhouse and offers a free breakfast with hot and cold items. Some rooms have microwaves, mini-fridges, and jetted tubs, while others have enough space for large families. The overall decor is mundane, but fits the Best Western brand standards, and the entire hotel is extremely clean.
Scene
A clean, downtown budget hotel with standard chain decor
The boilerplate design of the Best
Western Center Pointe Inn matches the theme of the brand and is slightly more
upscale than what's found at other hotels in the area, thanks to being family-run. There are nice stone walls
behind the front desk and in the lobby sitting area, but the leather couches,
carpet, lamps, and occasional chairs feel mismatched and a bit dated. Since the hotel
sits on a main road, there is little outside except for a parking lot and
a few trees. The breakfast room and game room include the same blonde wood and
boring carpet/tile, and the color schemes consist of only neutrals. The pool decks are pleasant enough, although there's limited seating and they aren't especially picturesque. The hotel attracts families and tourists, primarily, and the breakfast room can get quite crowded at times.
Location
Just off the main road, within walking distance of attractions, shops, and restaurants
In the heart of Branson's entertainment
district, the Best Western Center Pointe Inn is right off the main road (76
Country Boulevard) and within walking distance of numerous shops, restaurants,
and attractions. The Dutton Family Theater, Titanic Museum, Mount Pleasant
Winery, Presley’s Country Jubilee Theater, and White Water amusement park are all within a 15-minute walk of the hotel, and a 13-minute drive will get you to
Silver Dollar City. A rental car is only necessary if you plan to travel to
Silver Dollar City or outside of the downtown area.
Rooms
Clean and large with standard chain style, but some added perks
Rooms at the Best Western Center Pointe
Inn feature average chain-hotel style, with dark reds and browns that seem
to meld together. Tan drapes and forgettable artwork cover the walls without
adding style, and the red armchairs and sofas leave a lot to be desired. This
hotel could use a fresh color palette update, but the rooms are notably clean and
include coffeemakers, flat-screen TVs, and free Wi-Fi; some have microwaves and
mini-fridges as well. Jetted tubs in the honeymoon and family suites are large,
and the additional square footage allows enough room for large families. Aromae
and Vaseline amenities decorate the lovely bathroom countertops and there are shampoo
and body wash dispensers in the shower/tubs. Bathrooms have white tile,
white sinks, and modern showerheads; nothing out of the ordinary. Hairdryers
are affixed to the walls and there is good lighting, but nothing special stands out.
Features
Concierge services, indoor and outdoor pools with hot tubs, and free breakfast
The indoor and outdoor pools with hot tubs set the Best Western Centre Pointe Inn apart from the competition in the area. Additionally,
the hotel offers concierge services that include ticket service for local shows -- a
highlight for many guests. There is also a decent-sized fitness center with varied equipment, a large game room with several arcade games and a pool table,
and a business center with two computers. On-site, coin-operated laundry is
available in addition to a gift shop, free parking, and free Wi-Fi. A free breakfast with both hot and cold items receives good reviews, but the breakfast room is small. There's no on-site
restaurant or bar, but Montana Mike’s Steakhouse shares a parking lot with the
hotel and serves classic American favorites.
