This small, affordable hotel is well-kept with trim grounds and a neat, clean exterior. Citrus trees around the property give it a lovely perfume, and beautiful gardens add to the peaceful atmosphere. Inside, decor is modest and feels dated -- expect lots of wood paneling, simple furniture, and neutral tones with little embellishment -- but everything is in good condition. The family of owners make the hotel feel like a home for the many repeat guests -- both families and couples traveling for leisure. Hadjiantoni Anna Hotel Apartments is in the small village of Kissonerga, near the western coast of Cyprus. The area is known for banana plantations and citrus trees, leaving a lot of wide open space around the hotel. It is a 10-minute walk down the road to the center of town, where there are some restaurants and a store. It is a 15-minute walk to the nearest bus stop. 

fThe rocky coastline in the area does not lend itself to sandy beaches, but a seven-minute drive will bring guests to Coral Bay, a beautiful beach with shallow waters. The hotel is a 20-minute drive from the center of Paphos, the nearest city, with a walkable harbor full of shops and restaurants, plus historic ruins nearby. Paphos International Airport is a 25-minute drive from the hotel. 

Apartment-style rooms have simple decor and furnishings that are well-kept. Warm, neutral tones with minimal embellishment have a few accents in a bright orange bedspread or piece of artwork. Studios come with a double bed, dresser, and TV stand on one side, and the kitchenette, wardrobe, and dining table on the other, making them a bit tight on space. One-bedroom units include two sleeper sofas appropriate for two children, and a two-bedroom option is available as well. Kitchenettes have a mini-fridge, oven, gas stove, toaster, and kettle provided for meal prep. All rooms are air-conditioned -- for free -- and have a flat-screen TV and a furnished balcony. There are charges for use of the safe and DVD player, and a microwave and iron can be provided on request. Attractive black-and-white bathrooms have a curtained shower/tub combo and hairdryer. Free soap is provided, but there are no shampoo or shower gel.

This quaint hotel has modest amenities, but all the basics for a comfortable stay. A simple restaurant is available for breakfast and lunch, with dinner sometimes available on request. The food is good, and at a reasonable price for the area. Outside, a small pool sits on a tiled patio surrounded by grass and palm trees. There are free loungers under white umbrellas, plus a little wading pool for children. Past the lawns, treetops and distant mountains create a scenic backdrop, and the whole space has a private feel. The adjacent pool bar has drinks and snacks, plus a few games like darts, billiards, and table tennis. There’s also a simple playground for kids, shaded from direct sun. Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel, and it has a reliable signal.
