INNSIDE by Meliá Frankfurt Niederrad

The Innside by Melia Frankfurt Niederrad is a sleek and modern seven-floor hotel with minimalist designs and competitive prices. Its location in the Niederrad business area attracts business travelers, and suited businesspeople are typically seen strolling on the cobblestone sidewalk outside the entrance. The lobby features fun, neon-colored dangling lights over the dark wooden front desk that can be seen from two glass elevators. High ceilings, wooden floors, and a lounge with leather furniture and a flat-screen TV, give the lobby a contemporary feel. Hallways are clean and feature gray and white walls, although the lack of wall decor creates a sterile atmosphere. A glass staircase built over a pebble floor adds character to the hotel’s interiors.

The hotel is situated in the Niederrad business area, south of the Main River, and is slightly isolated from Frankfurt’s city center. The airport is a convenient eight-minute drive away and it’s a 12-minute walk to the Frankfurter Golf Club. The central train station is 14 minutes away on public transportation while the Zeil shopping promenade and the MyZeil mall take around 20 minutes. Frankfurt's Old Town, home of the city's famous city hall (the Romer) and the Goethe House, takes 15 minutes to reach by car or about 20 minutes on the S-Bahn. The Messe Frankfurt exhibition center takes just under 45 minutes to reach by tram.

The Innside offers Lofts, Suites with separate sitting areas, and Rooms with two single or queen beds. All rooms have gold-colored paintings, modern yellow chairs, and brown carpeting. Features include minibars (stocked with freebies daily), flat-screen TVs, writing desks, irons, safes, and tea kettles. Large windows provide natural light, but not all rooms have good views. Schlaf Schafchen gummy bears on pillows are a welcoming touch. Bathrooms have frosted glass doors, modern fixtures, and shower/tub combos and/or glass walk-in showers with rainfall showerheads that look out on rooms and lack privacy. Suites and Lofts have kitchenettes with coffeemakers, single burner stovetops, microwaves, sinks, and dining tables. Smoking rooms are available and cribs can be arranged upon request. Rooms have free wired Internet and Wi-Fi is available for a fee. 

The hotel’s Fugo restaurant and bar have floor-to-ceiling windows, allowing lots of natural light in. Black leather chairs and dark wooden floors make for a stylish setting in the restaurant area, where international cuisine is served buffet style. The bar is eye-catching and modern, with a red accent wall and a red facade. There's also a lounge area with black leather chairs and cocktail tables. An outdoor terrace with patio furniture provides additional seating in summer months. 

Three bright meeting rooms offer large windows, modern audiovisual equipment, business services, catering, and Wi-Fi and can collectively host up to 120 people. The hotel also has a 24-hour gym with modern cardio equipment, weights, a flat-screen TV, and a water cooler. All guests get free access to the stylish spa, which features a charming solarium with chic rattan lounge chairs, a small sauna, a Turkish bath, fresh towels, and a tanning booth.
