Bottom Line

The 55-room Manhattan Hotel serves up a slice of the Big Apple in the heart of Frankfurt. Located near Frankfurt's main railway station, the hotel features a 24-hour lobby bar, a buffet breakfast room, and a PC workstation in the lobby. Rooms are simple and stylish with flat-screen TVs and come with welcome plates of fresh fruit. However, they lack air-conditioning; if you're visiting Frankfurt in the summer and want to stay cool, check out the air-conditioned rooms at the similarly priced Hotel Europa Style.

Manhattan Hotel

Scene

New York-style hotel with modern designs, a contemporary breakfast room, and a 24-hour bar

The six-floor Manhattan Hotel attracts all sorts of travelers, but most of the people who stay here are business guests who want modern interiors, competitively priced rooms, and a bit of New York style in the center of Frankfurt. The small but modern lobby has tinted glass doors and windows that look out on a busy Frankfurt street, with tram lines running in the middle. A small lobby lounge area next to the front desk offers comfy rattan furniture and a flat-screen TV. Hallways feature iconic New York photography and Empire State Building logos. There’s a small elevator and staircase, although the elevator only goes up to the fifth floor. The small lobby bar has a few stools and is open 24 hours a day. The hotel's central location means that the bar attracts its fair share of locals along with overnight guests. The breakfast room features modern blue chairs and gray tables along with a flat-screen TV and high chairs for children. A second dining room decorated in a similarly modern style offers more tables and chairs.
