Manhattan Hotel

The six-floor Manhattan Hotel attracts all sorts of travelers, but most of the people who stay here are business guests who want modern interiors, competitively priced rooms, and a bit of New York style in the center of Frankfurt. The small but modern lobby has tinted glass doors and windows that look out on a busy Frankfurt street, with tram lines running in the middle. A small lobby lounge area next to the front desk offers comfy rattan furniture and a flat-screen TV. Hallways feature iconic New York photography and Empire State Building logos. There’s a small elevator and staircase, although the elevator only goes up to the fifth floor. The small lobby bar has a few stools and is open 24 hours a day. The hotel's central location means that the bar attracts its fair share of locals along with overnight guests. The breakfast room features modern blue chairs and gray tables along with a flat-screen TV and high chairs for children. A second dining room decorated in a similarly modern style offers more tables and chairs.

The Manhattan Hotel is located in a busy area of town, near plenty of restaurants, bars, and cafes, and across the street from a grocery store. The Frankfurt Hauptbahnhof (central train station) is a two-minute walk away and Frankfurt Trade Fair Centre can be reached in seven minutes on the S-Bahn. It’s a nine-minute walk to the English Theatre. The riverside museums, including the Stadel, Jewish Museum Frankfurt, and Liebieghaus, are all around a 15-minute walk from the hotel. The Frankfurt Airport takes around 15 minutes to reach by car or public transportation.

The hotel features tiny Single Rooms along with more spacious Double and Triple Rooms, some with street views. Decor includes cream-colored headboards, photos of New York City, and dark wooden or vinyl flooring. Guests are welcomed with small plates of fresh fruit and packages of gummy bears. Minibars, safes, and writing desks come standard in all rooms, but there's no air-conditioning. Double and Triple Rooms have flat-screen TVs built into mirrors, and Triple Rooms offer sofa beds. Cribs are available on request. Bathrooms have gray floors and white-tiled walls and come with either walk-in showers or shower/tub combos; some also have windows. 

Wi-Fi is free throughout the hotel and guests who don't bring computers with them can use a standing workstation in the lobby, right by the front desk. The hotel also offers 24-hour front desk services as well as mail service, international newspapers, and a safe deposit box. A free continental buffet breakfast is offered in the morning and features cereals, toasts, fresh fruit, and hot items, along with juice, tea, and coffee.
